GoMamam 4+

It’s a great app for food delivery except the service. It can take more nearly 2 hour for it to get delivered to your place, another things sometimes they pick up your food early and go to some places to deliver it (which is most of the time theirs journey is not one way and they bring your food along the way and become cold) I experienced that I ordered jollibee from salambigar, and they pick up it first after 45mins of ordering and the driver went to mengkubau housing and it take time and then just deliver my food which is at Muara highway… (cos you can check theirs live location after the driver are assigned to deliver your food)

App is good tbh. Sometimes it’s a bit wonky coz when I searched for certain business it’s js say no business available (or something along that line), but then I scrolled down and there the business is. Also don’t like how I browse through one business and go back ia te reset balik to the top of the list. Had to scroll down lagi and tunggu ia load apa, sudahtah internet ani lagging 24/7.

But what gets me the most is the delivery time. Rush hour kah inda, selalu betebiat. “Utmost priority to maintain the quality of your orders…” 3 hours of waiting for orders to be picked up from the business and no drivers assigned, no message asking if I’m okay with the delays or whatnots, nyaman tah masih makanan & minuman ku tu? 🙄 I tried to be understanding but after tens of orders with no improvements, bah sudah tah. That was the last straw. Never again, gomamam.

Edit: Ok so rupanya kalau mau delivery laju, mesti bagi tips. Ada urg atu mengakun kalau nada tips, kana lambat2kan delivery. Mcm hello, apatah gunanya delivery fee atu? Dulu atu aku selalu bagi tips jua, nada jua pandai laju deliverynya. Bangang.

After using Gomamam for quite sometime, it’s quite disappointing to say the less.

Delivery -
Without a doubt, delivery takes up to 45 minutes to an a hour plus just to get my food delivered. Not to mention, drivers would accept and decline the order extending the delivery time. My elderly parents ordered from Gomama for the first time, the night was calm no rain no nothing, but it took Gomamam drivers to arrive to my parents house within 2 hours. Not only that, my parents were very desperate to get food that they went out to get takeaways from the restaurant they ordered from Gomamam.

Food condition-
By the time the food arrives, the food would be cold and just miserable to eat. Some drivers don’t safely package my orders so drinks end up spilling and food would be mushed.

Overall, what can I say. I live in Brunei, Grab is infinitely better then Gomamam. It amazes me that a Grab driver managed to arrived to my destination within 30 minutes while there’s an ongoing world cup happening, AND STILL they offered me a discount for being late… Truly a culture shock for me. I couldn’t accept the discount and instead payed in full price while having a good warm Shawarma.
