Amazing and Helpful

This is a wonderful way to keep organized, track presents received / thank you notes, and be able to remember what I have given to others in the past! Its super easy to use, I've never had any issues with crashing or anything, and even my kids help enter holiday gifts and birthday presents. Highly recommended as a way to stay organized, especially for our large family!

Still a few issues

This is a great app conceptually, but when I got it and went to input data there were a couple things I didn’t like. First, I really HATE that you have to create an account. I’ve used another Christmas gift app fir years and didn’t have to do that. It makes me feel like they want to track what I’m looking at so they can sell my info for targeted ads. That may not be the case but certainly is my impression, so I don’t like that.

I cam get over that though if the app functionality was exactly what I had in mind. I like it for the most part but the biggest issue is the inability to Mark something as a gift idea and the inability to associate gifts with specific dates/holidays. The gifts organize in an alphabetical list - one long list - that includes gifts given abd received by any given contact. For me, since I gift the same people over and over, this list will get cumbersome quickly. The app is close but not quite getting to the level of detail I need.

Our app requires you to create an account so your data can be stored for your future reference - eg if you change your device or want to log in from multiple devices, your data will be easily accessible, which can only be done via account creation. Your gift data is not viewable by anyone except you. As our app has zero adverts and we do not sell your data as per our policy, gifts you enter are not used for marketing or able to be viewed by anyone. Please rest assured we take data privacy very seriously.

We have a number of ways to view gifts - you can see all your gifts in the Gifts page. You can also view gifts by Contact by tapping on Contacts at the bottom and then selecting the contact you wish to view. In each contact you’ll see all gifts you’ve exchanged with them. You can do the same to view gifts by occasions - simply tap on Events and select the event you want to view all gifts for that occasion.
Regarding gift ideas - you can enter gift ideas by occasion (select Event at the bottom) or by Contact. In both, you’ll see the section called Wish Lists. In this section you can enter gift ideas (we have sections for gifts you’re considering as well as gifts you know don’t work for particular people to make gifting easier!) and you can even copy and paste links directly to online shops for your reference.

useful and convenient app

GiftLog is a super helpful app that allows me to keep all of my sent and received gifts in one place. I’ve had no problems with the app’s functions and it will definitely be useful this holiday season!
