G-SHOCK Connected 4+

Thanks so much for making these watches blue tooth compatible with an app and everything ya’ll. I’ve always been a g-shock guy (my dad gave me my first 5600 in the 80’s) and I plan to one day get a Mr. G. Really a big fan of the “Hana Basara” and the MRGB2000b-1A4. The fact that you have a digital interface, with all the options to update and monitor the time, combined with proper Japanese engineering, quality and style is exactly what will put you over the top of the entire market. Thanks for keeping me honest and being the best watch company on the face of the planet. My friend who owns several high-end Swiss watches turned green with envy when I set my watch with my phone. 😂 Keep doing it! And if you need a good mascot to advertise let me know. 😁

Love the watch (mtg-b2000). The app is slick and does a good job setting up the watch. One of the main reasons for buying this non-gps watch for me is the fact that it has excellent battery management. I would really like to see improved functions for reading state and change to battery. The small indicator on the App is the only way to know the state of the battery and it could be enhanced to show a larger icon with more information and somehow show changes (daily/weekly) as it would help me understand how I can maintain the battery level needed.
Some of the language in the App is confusing in English “watch is normal” etc, and the Log could be enhanced with more details as to what was corrected “adjusted 3 seconds”. The analog animations of time changes are cool both on the watch and in the App. I would love to see the App record and reflect on changes when the watch is not connected to the App (connections to radio band when/where/how much adjustment).

This is one of the best apps I've seen for the iPhone. Not only does it add unique and very useful functionality to G-Shock watches like my GPR-B1000, but it does so with a great user interface that is simultaneously functional and cool. It's a great example of G-Shock style! It is perfectly in sync with the design principles of these great watches which I've been collecting for decades.

Lately it has been sending messages that support will be ending and trying to get me to migrate to the Casio Watches app as a replacement. I already have that app installed to sync the time on my Oceanus watch. By comparison to G-Shock Connected, Casio Watches is just a soulless
advertising tool with a bad user interface.

Here's a suggestion from a dedicated Casio watch fan who doesn't need to see aggressive ads to buy your excellent products (I've purchased 10+ already). Instead of deprecating G-Shock Connected, put the team who developed it in charge of redesigning and rewriting the Casio Watches app so it reflects your company values and serves as a great extension of your fine watches.
