Freebirds Restaurant 4+

Overall a great app that works well . I would like more customization options such as half one meat and half another . Salsa options should also be “light , medium, heavy “ . Overall I dig this app but it feels a little cold and robotic and doesn’t have the personality that I enjoy of Freebirds. I like how customized my food can be when in store . Due to covid-19 I only order pick up / drive through and I miss all the customization options that going in store offers. I want to support Freebirds local stores more often but this clunky app prevents that .

I’ve been using the Freebirds loyalty app for over 10 years! I was around when they would send you free gifts like hats, glasses, flashlights, etc. FOR FREE! Just for being a customer. But it has gotten worse, way worse. The app used to be cooler and there was a really cool title rank you could get which mines says “legend” now. But thats not really care about now. But not only have they taken away many of the rewards like having a item on the menu named after you, the entire vibe has just gone in the trash. As a former freebirds employee i got to see a backdoor of how much they only care about money. Everything is either frozen or quickly made, the decorations became “family friendly” it used to be a lot more grunge or hippie like. But the greed it awful, a free burrito reward 5-10 years ago was 100 points which is roughly a dollar a point. Few years ago it went to 120 points for a free burrito… NOW its 170 points for a free burrito THATS ALMOST $200 of food just for a free burrito which when i worked here so much food was wasted at closing in the trash. But you have to blow more money just for something that would be in a trash can. Freebirds has sadly forgotten their rad roots. 🥲plz stop the greed

I love to eat at FWB. The service is always great and I adore the food. Knowing that there’s a loyalty program that will help me earn free food is even better. Yet, every time I use the app to order ahead there is a technical issue. First I thought it was my phone. I tried updating the app as needed. But the app can never load the menu so that I can start an order. I’m constantly reloading the page only to see nothing but background icons. This is a major pain since I
would like the convenience of ordering ahead. The sad part is that I have to logon using my desktop to gain points. Please find a way to fix these issues. I know your company values convenience. Thank you for reading this review.
