Perfect, if there aren’t musical sequences in your story
This app is perfect for beginners with the cheat sheet for screenplay format. It is also really simple. No switching between actions and dialogue. Just screenwriting bliss. The only problem is lyrics, which is a very niche problem. I am writing a story that involves musical theatre songs, and I want to have the lyrics in the script so I can have actions correspond to them. Other than that, the app is great!

Awesome little app
FINALLY. The lack of simple no-strings-attached screenwriting apps on the App Store has always been strange to me. This app is simple and does exactly what it says. And it’s FREE. I wish more apps were like this. Sure, if you want a million features and beat boards and “character analysis” (whatever that means) then by all means pay $10-$100 for something else. But if you’re ready to get writing…this app is for you!!

All you really need in a SW tool
Ever since Highland 2 happened, I have never been able to adapt to any other. I say adapt becaue I use only iPad Pro and there is no support for Highland 2 on iOS (despite them promising they have it on their “Roadmap”).
The simplicity and the functional value that i see with Fountain is very promising. Looking forward to some basic tweaks, but overall very happy with this app.
