Description
Fly calmly by knowing how turbulent your upcoming flights may be.
Simply punch in your flight date / number and receive detailed information about how turbulences might affect your journey.
If your flight is not leaving for some time, we can save your flight info for you and send you a well timed turbulence report just before you fly.
Our reports are based on publicly available weather data and tell you how strong the expected disturbances might be and how likely they will occur. Please keep in mind that weather forecasts are not invariably 100% accurate. Always follow the instructions of the cabin crew during your Flight.

Latest update bugs
*update below*
Was working well - I have paid for the long haul and ad removal. Now it no longer shows any information after the search, just shows a busy indicator - forever. The UI is messed up too, the colors are messed up in the calendar widget and you can’t see the dates being selected. Also the language switched to Spanish for some reason. I have tried to contact the developer via email with no response. Also have selected the support link here in the App Store but that just takes you right back to the App Store page.
Update: several days after this the developer is pushed an update and seems to have fixed these issues.

Hi AlexInSanDiego, my apologies for not having answered your mail yet. We are very busy preparing an update fixing the problems you mention and also preparing a new version that is meant to improve the forecasting. The problems with the UI are visible only when the dark mode is on. A workaround until the update is there is to disable the dark mode from the iOS settings. The language problem only affects the search button label which in the english version appears, as you point out, in spanish. All the rest is still in english. Anyway, we are just about to release the update fixing all these annoying things. My apologies again. Best regards, Carlos.
Good app, could be great
I think that the one thing that the developers don’t take into consideration is the route the crew might take.
When you enter your flight info, it basically gives you a forecast for a flight that’s in a straight line (which all flights never travel in) and an unknown altitude.
I’ve had this app for a while, it can be a hit or miss in my opinion, this morning I took a flight from the Dominican Republic to New York, the app showed no turbulence.
When I get on the flight, the captain comes on and warns of some turbulence over Turks and Caicos, so exactly as the captain stated, turbulence started over the Turks for about 45 minutes of non-stop chop.
So like I said before, it can be a hit or miss because I’ve been on flights where the app shows turbulence and then there isn’t any, or it shows turbulence and there is.
I can probably say that this app have an accuracy rate of about 70% or so, it kinda helps but like I said before, it needs to take other things into consideration, I know the developers are not going to get every flight plan in the world, but it would help it there was any other way of having more accuracy.
Developer Response ,
Hi, thanks a lot for your review and comments. You are right, using the path from a great circle (the shortest flight path possible) is not always the most accurate way of predicting the actual path of the flight. At the moment, this is the best we can do.
We are working on an improvement where we could show different paths for the flight based on historic data of previous flights. We keep working on the app, some updates will come soon. Best regards, Carlos.
Great for peace of mind
The app is wonderful for knowing what to expect on a flight. The predictions aren’t 100% accurate, but they’re based on the best information available to science. Even knowing that jolts can happen unexpectedly, being prepared for when they’re likely to happen and knowing how long they’re likely to last is extremely helpful. Many thanks to the app developer for making this and improving it over the years.
