Description

We are all on a journey of self-cultivation in life, pursuing the fulfillment of the body, mind, and brain, enjoying life while accepting its impermanence.

Essentially, the habits you form will shape the life you lead. Over time, good habits will bring immense value, while the cost of bad habits will become unbearable. The price of good habits is paid in the present, while the cost of bad habits is paid in the future.

Reality tends to repeat itself in similar ways. To avoid making the same mistakes, record the real-life problems you encounter, reflect deeply to find the root causes, thoroughly learn from past experiences, and establish principles to handle similar situations in the future. This will increase your margin for error going forward.

Life is unpredictable. Eudemonia will help us cultivate the ability to accept uncertainty and disappointment, allowing us to live in the present and find peace in the moment. At the same time, it will help us motivate ourselves to achieve the dreams we have but are still hesitant to pursue.

A healthy body is the foundation for all possibilities in life. The essence of illness is that the rate of cellular damage exceeds the rate of repair, and the only thing that can provide the materials for cell repair is food. Based on your physical condition, Eudemonia scientifically calculates your daily nutritional goals and breaks them down into each meal. You can easily track your meals to check if you're meeting your daily nutritional targets. You don’t need to hit the targets with every meal—it’s neither realistic nor necessary. If you’re busy with work, you can adjust your diet on Sundays to maintain dietary balance over a longer period.

As the designer of your own life, focus on the areas and projects you want to explore:

a. Explore the areas of your life that you are curious about and want to delve into.
b. Understand how the world works through the lens of these areas of exploration.
c. Explore more career possibilities and sow the seeds of potential.

Break down your projects (areas you want to explore) into specific stages, and then break each stage into daily tasks. Set deadlines to manage the progress of each stage and the overall project. Upon completing a stage or project, reward yourself to motivate further exploration.

Use the Pomodoro technique to dive deeply into your explorations and avoid inconsistency. It will help improve your focus, increase time efficiency, and aid your brain in separating work from leisure, balancing productivity with rest.

Motivate yourself to perform better with rewards and penalties. Set rewards for the things you want to obtain and naturally work towards earning them. Add a playful element to your daily life by incorporating this system of rewards and penalties.

We are all the designers of our own lives. We welcome you to join us in exploring the script of life. With Eudemonia’s help, we hope you will continually pursue fulfillment, unleash your curiosity about life, understand how the world works through the areas you wish to explore, and plant seeds of potential for the future script of your life.

What’s New

Version 1.0.14

After striving to launch on a day of shared global significance, we’re thrilled to introduce our new version today — on International Colour Day, World Sleep Day, International Day of Forests, and the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. We hope this release helps make the world and humanity a little brighter.

New Features:
- Added options to filter "Legacy Activities" by specific projects and future activities.
- Dark mode can now be automatically enabled when switching to the Principles view.
- Version update information now appears upon the first launch of a new version.
- Introduced "vegetable oils" as a food category, with nutritional guidance on fat variety.
- Important principles now display a priority reminder for sorting.
- Estimated completion dates for principles are now automatically calculated based on practice frequency.
- Daily notifications include app usage tips and motivational messages (enabled by default).
- Added a prompt for viewing projects when adding a new one.
- Introduced a shortcut to share your Eudemonia journey in the Help section.
- New nutritional articles: "Cholesterol & Phospholipids" and "Beware of Fat Imbalance."
- Long-press in previously consumed food selection to edit category and name.
- Long-press a principle to copy its content for sharing.
- Habit tracking now displays the best completion scale from the previous day.
- Flashlight notifications after focus sessions (optional).
- Added new insights on vitamin intake and its importance.
- Copy ideas, emotions, thoughts, and sensations to the clipboard.
- Added an ideal habit completion percentage to the Daily Overview.
- Project history now includes phase start/end times and invested resources.
- Habit celebration duration can now be customized.
- Different celebration icons appear depending on the day of the week.
- Adjustable meal wallpaper blur effect.
- Improved decision-making guidance in the Principles-based decision view.
- If all focus tasks are completed, the success is automatically recorded in the journal.
- New knowledge on calcium intake and early deficiency symptoms.
- Reminder color change for bedtime reflections when it's time to review the day.
- Added a cooking oil info section in the Diet Overview.
- Customizable meal start panel text.

Adjustments:
- Eudemonia is introducing paid features gradually. Most functions remain free for now, but some will require payment in future updates. Special thanks to early supporters.
"Strict Love" in the issue log (which asks if an issue has been recorded and applies a penalty if not) is now a paid feature.
- - - - - -

- Adjusted the nighttime wind-down schedule by starting 1.5 hours earlier.
- Removed random sorting in legacy activities due to new filtering options.
- Moved the "Diagnose Issues" section under Principles in the Daily Overview.
- Updated icons for "Accepting Distractions in Focus" and "Awareness of Thoughts."
- Shortened breakfast and average meal duration goals.
- Accessibility tips are now enabled by default.
- Removed the "from To-Do List" label in the Thought Awareness section.
- Focus end notifications now display "Take a break!" as a subtitle instead of a main title.
- Adjusted food category icon colors in the Diet Overview.

Fixes:
- On iPad, some interfaces did not display the "Don't Save and Exit?" prompt. Thanks to our user friends for the feedback.
- When editing a scenario, the original title was not loaded. How did I only notice this now?
- A frustrating issue—after editing a project, switching from "Project Details" to "More Info" would cause a crash. Although I still don’t fully understand why, it’s fixed now. Hopefully, I'll figure it out someday.
- In the reflections on impermanence (uncertain events) interface, the top time display still showed the current time instead of the event’s conclusion time.
