The worst ebook reading experience ever
Considering that this is a reader oriented at giving readers access to scholarly (and usually very expensive) books, it cannot be overstated how bad the experience is. This app is not a reader, its a security wrapper for a pdf. No functionality whatever, not even highlighting. When using an iPad, merely touching the screen usually causes a random jump backwards or forwards, so you have to scroll very carefully to advance. Its just a painful reading experience. No thought whatsoever given to the use of the app on the mac side of things, where you will be limited to a small window which cannot be expanded. Of course no searching capability. In otherwords, pretty useless, especially for scholarly research.
can i give zero stars?
unable to open my order (which i spent over $120 on). wasn't warned that I needed an iPad before purchasing so I have no way to read the book. waiting on their customer service to help.. but really dissapointed
