Barstow movie Theater
First of all the customer service is always super chill and polite, the vibe is cool too. I am absolutely thankful to even have a theater in Barstow but these summer months are HOT and when I went the last two times in July it was very hot and hard to all the way enjoy the experience because it’s too hot in there even though I’m dressed for summer. I hope they’re able to upgrade their ac in there so it will be a much cooler experience!
The 4 stars is only because it was so hot*
Revamped App is NOT user friendly; Web page loading app
Its now incredibly clunky, not intuitive at all. Want one theater? Heres all the options for every theater from 1 mile to 500 miles away, with no discernible difference to let you know which theater (show times) you’re looking at. Want to use your points? Log in. Want to buy tickets? Log in again, want to buy the tickets? Log in again, and it’ll take you to a different web page for your payment info. Which once you “confirm purchase”, it will crash and say “system error, want to reload?” And then the loading wheel of death begins.
Most apps/web pages have a color system to let the user know if they can proceed or not. This “app”, green or grey, these colors don’t change with inputs and don’t have that color repeating to make it seem as if nothing has changed.
Ex; put in credit info, button changes from grey to green to let the user know they’ve completed the information needed. This app, grey.. just grey, or green and stays green.
Its not an app, its a web browser in an app that loads more web browsers
Good info but inconvenient for payments
I enjoy using the D’Place app to book my movie seats at Cathedral City’s Mary Pickford theater. We have multiple theaters in our area, but Pickford is always the best! The problem is that the app requires you to put in your information multiple times (after you sign in on the app, it still asks you to put in your name, email & phone info again each and every time!) AND it doesn’t keep your payment information (or allow for Apple Pay). So each time I want to reserve a seat, I have to pull out my credit card and input all the info each time…. Even if D’Place doesn’t want to keep that info handy, then allow for Apple Pay!!! Don’t make it so hard for me to book my tickets!!!
