Cozy Couples: Relationship App 4+

i downloaded this app and a bunch of others out of disparity when my boyfriend and i were in a really terrible patch in our relationship. we both felt alone and isolated all the time because of the distance we have. we go to college together but we knew this summer it was going to be hard going from spending every day together to seeing each other a few days out of every month.

i was absolutely starstruck when i opened this app. it was cute, homey, and the activities were so fun--there's an activity to target each part of your relationship, big or small. i sent it to my partner right away and bought the premium subscription. we've gotten so much better at navigating the distance now and one of the main reasons is because of how connected we feel through this app. it's worth the time, the effort, and the money if you have it. it also supports the indie game devs too so i was happy to buy it! this app was seriously a saving grace but note it may not work in every relationship. my partner and i found comfort in sharing and doing these activities together daily, and find it rewarding when we gain stars to play even More activities together. i can happily say that we've been together for almost a year now. a huge thank you to the game devs. you helped my boyfriend and i grow into healthier, better people.

this is a really lovely little app and it really is so cute and so sweet! my boyfriend and i recently had to go long-distance and this has been a really sweet and welcome addition to our routine! would recommend even for couples who aren’t long distance; the daily diary prompts are a really great tool for building more connection and spark great conversations about what you love about your partner and your relationship. my partner is not a phone game guy at all and he loves this too, it’s not game-y but offers a little virtual home for a LDR complete with a pet and plant to care for together, virtual photo album, and background music.

the only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because i wish there were more activities you could do to get stars (which you need in order to do the relationship trivia games, which are also great and so sweet!). would also maybe be nice to have descriptions for the trivia since you need to unlock them before you can see the questions - some of the themes are self-explanatory (e.g. “first impressions”) but others are not as clear (“cozy home” or “pet persona”) and it would be nice to know a bit more about what those entail.

but truly this is a great app and i’m so glad to have discovered it! i told my bf the first or second day we used this that i was a living ad for this app bc every time i opened it, i would find myself smiling so much! thank you for making this, it’s a really lovely thing for long distance couples :)

Me and my partner stumbled on this app a few days ago and we both love it! It’s great as we are long distance atm and in general it has added a lot of extra smiles to my day. Seeing my partner fill out the diary, send me a hug, write me a little note or play a game of trivia - it brightens my day every time I get a notification.

I love the mood function as we both struggle with mental health and it allows us to stay in touch with how the other is feeling throughout the day. There has been a couple times when my partner was stressed or sad when they were at work and unable to write a full text about it or call - but were able to update their mood on the app - and I was able to support them how they needed after work because of that.

I would love to see more moods added or the ability to customize moods! Being bipolar the mood function is extremely useful for me, but I’ve definitely had times when there isn’t a mood to pick that feels accurate to what I’m feeling. There’s so much potential to this app and I’m really excited to see it develop more! I never leave reviews but i really want to see this grow and more people using it.
