Description
Dungeon crawler with addictive puzzle mechanics.
Card Fall is a mix of puzzle game and roguelite. The player explores dungeons filled with monsters, traps, potions and treasures by making strategic decisions about moving and attacking different cards. The dungeons are randomly generated and constantly change thus always providing an interesting puzzle to solve.
The game field consists of dungeon cards that fall on a character, and of character cards that can be used to fight back. If the monster card falls on a character it deals damage but if the weapon card falls down it is added to a character deck. There are also a lot of other card types with unique properties and abilities.
The game lasts until the character dies but the ability to upgrade characters and cards makes each new run easier. There are a lot of unique dungeons, characters and cards to unlock and all the unlocks can be made with high scores.
Explore magical dungeons, discover ancient treasures and free the trapped heroes in the world of Card Fall!
Game features:
- The game is offline (no internet connection required)
- Unique game mechanics
- High replayability
- Runs smoothly even on the older phones
Ratings and Reviews
Addicting but needs improvement
Yesterday I blinked and looked at the clock. It jumped from 7:30am to 12:00pm. I had entered into a dungeon-fueled time warp. Pretty incredible and I’m curious to ask the devs how they’ve achieved such a scientific miracle. However, altering time doesn’t come without some bugs. Sometimes one run will last so long that I’ll leave the game and come back to it later. This worked for a while until I left a game running overnight (I was over 5,000), and when I came back to it the following morning, the game reset with no record of my gold or score. So I lost hours of progress. Also, the bombs could use some rework (they go off instead of interacting with hook), and often when I hold down a card but decide NOT to switch its place (so trying to recenter it) it results in my attacking it without wanting to. So… yeah I’ll probably re-enter the time warp today but if we don’t get a Save Game To Come Back to It Later option soon and I lose another 5000+ gold, that might be it for me.
Simple, Challenging, and Fun
I have to say, I’ve been impressed by all of this developers apps and this one does NOT fall short in expectation. There is some skill involved in playing this game. You can’t just spam cards and expect to win, which makes it so you’re not bored to tears when playing this game. Also, it doesn’t murder my battery life like some other games out there, I can easily play for an hour and still have a good portion of my battery left. Third, the graphics are pleasing and it has this charming simplicity about it (which is probably why my phone doesn’t die immediately). Overall, Great game.
Highly addictive, yet another hit!
Once you figure out the game mechanics, which doesn’t take long, you won’t be able to put this game down. This dev makes some awesome titles like Rogue Cards and Brick Dungeon. There are even more. But this is seriously cool, unique, and is worthy of playing.
