It allows users the ability to capture precious moments in their life, film or record messages for loved ones to receive after their passing, share and create family artifacts such as family recipes or photos, plus leave behind their living legacy memorial video so future generations can hear from them directly - ultimately sharing their story and establishing an eternal presence.


Capsoulate provides historical context for each user, capturing their lives chronologically and offering post life data hosting for their family. Everything from the user's voice, personality, mannerisms, and contributions will be housed in a centralized location on the Capsoulate platform where future generations will be able to see firsthand those who lived before them.

The 4 core functionalities:

• Personal and Overall Family Timeline:
Allows users the opportunity to preserve significant events in their day-to-day life and view their overall family timeline contributions. Future generations will be able to see the lives of those who lived before them, hear their voice, view their mannerisms as well as personality, and understand their reality + so much more.

• Family Heirlooms:
Allows users the opportunity to publish family recipes, pets, recollections, vacations, and all other likewise family artifacts. In times of catastrophes (such as house fires), precious family heirlooms are oftentimes destroyed. Not every family member has access to specific key family artifacts. Here, these heirlooms / artifacts live on forever in a centralized, easy to share location on the Capsoulate platform.

• Living Legacy Memorial Video:
Allows users the opportunity to film their own memorial service video with the messages that they would like to share with their loved ones. Users are able to detail themselves in their own words. After all, nobody is better to speak on behalf of the deceased than the deceased themselves.

• Postmortem Postings:
Allows users the opportunity to post occasional or regular video content for specific family members that will be displayed once the user passes away. Once the user passes away, the content becomes available, but only for those who it was initially intended for.
