You can see photos uploaded by the camp and get notified whenever photos of your camper are detected. We've redesigned the Bunk1 experience to make it more enjoyable and fluid. It's a whole new design with enhanced features for account management, inviting family members, and a new section for your approved facial recognition photos to be stored and easily accessed. In this version, you now have:
- Signing in is even easier! Access the passwords you've saved in your device

It certainly help to be in touch
We like app as it keeps us in touch with our teen at a sleep away summer camp. I wish the app could have additional features such as the the ability of choosing font size. Our kid has low vision and the standard font size used by the app is too small for him. This must not be difficult to make available but although this feedback has been provided, it did not happen. We also like the responsiveness of the costumer support.
Lacking in innovative and some essential app functions
The app is a must-use if it’s the system of choice of the camp, and so the developer should pay special attention to some basic functions of an app, such as rotating so it can be used with a keyboard in landscape mode. The art in the borders is childish, so if you’re the parent of a pre-teen or teen camper, the borders are not worth paying a credit for. Including photos is a nice touch as is a Sudoku puzzle. Why isn’t there there the ability to include a signature, it’s on an iPad after all. Or expand functionality so that you can include more than one photo in a grid. Face recognition works well, but isn’t reliable enough not to have to have you go through camp photos anyway. I’ve had campers for 5+ years and used Bunk1 but haven’t seen much innovation at all. Time for a refresh.
Awesome app for parents and families
My daughter is away at camp for the first time and I love the fact that I am able to send her notes and also see her in pics on a daily basis through face recognition. I so love how it allows me and my family to be able to view, download and even pay for pics of her at the camp. So many options of fun picture frames to add with her notes that I send to her. Things that she loves like emoticons. She adores it so much and it keeps her feeling good to be in touch with us and not feel homesick. Awesome app!!
