Description

Now includes the highly reviewed BJJ for Old F***s module, designed to give older grapplers an edge and keep them competitive against young punks on the mat!

SIMPLY AND QUICKLY LEARN THE BEST TECHNIQUES FROM BJJ

NEW: Now includes the Strenuous Life, Podcast Player, a BJJ article archive, the No Gi Leglocks with Oliver Taza and The Guard Retention Formula with Rory Van Vliet instructionals.

BJJ has been proven again and again by professional fighters in Mixed Martial Art competition, as well as by many ordinary people defending themselves in the street against bigger and stronger attackers.

Many experts believe that BJJ is the single most effective martial art. We believe that many different martial arts are effective, but the bottom line is that if you understand the ground game then it gives you a HUGE advantage in a fight.

Grappling may seem complicated and difficult to learn, but all you really need is a plan and a place to start.

The techniques, tactics and strategies covered in the different modules within this app will make you a confident grappler in all areas of the ground!

Download this app now for free and get instant access to a TON of the most important BJJ and submission grappling techniques.

ABOUT STEPHAN KESTING AND GRAPPLEARTS.COM

My name is Stephan Kesting and I’ve been doing martial arts for more than 37 years.

The grappling arts have been my main focus for about 25 of these years, and now I’m a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and also a certified instructor in Erik Paulson’s Combat Submission Wrestling.

In addition to the grappling qualifications I’m also a black belt in Kajukenbo Karate, an instructor in Dan Inosanto’s Jun Fan JKD, Maphalindo Silat and Filipino Martial Arts program. I’ve studied Japanese Judo, Russian Sambo, various Chinese Kung Fu systems, Brazilian Capoeira, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and many other martial arts.

I’m not bringing up those qualifications to boast. The reason I mentioned them is to establish that I’ve been around the scene, trained with a lot of different people, and have a good understanding of the challenges that grapplers face on the mats everyday.

I know quality, and can recognise stuff that really works when I see it.

Grapplearts is my company and we’ve been online since 2002. That’s a long time, and we’ve produced a ton of instructional products, continuously refining how the material gets taught and presented in order to make it easier to learn.

The goal is to get you the best information in the easiest to learn format, period!

App vs website

I enjoy Stephen Kestings videos. I particularly like the fact that he invites other instructors in to help out with the videos and I think they’re a good value for money.

My biggest problem is that you buy one video and if you try to restore your purchase on your iPhone or your iPad it won’t download. Fortunately, customer service has been very helpful. I’m hoping that at some point it will just be easier to purchase the content and it applies to all of the platforms but for now if you’re going to buy something and want it on your iPhone, I recommend that you just purchase it through the app. Regardless, I think the company really cares about its customers so it’s worth five stars in my book.

Great instructor, great content

Stephan is an outstanding instructor. More intellectual than your average BJJ gorilla, but also doesn’t require a protractor and thesaurus like Danaher. Great blend of charisma, profound knowledge and an easy-to-digest teaching style. The app has a nice balance of free content and paid content—you sort of know when you’re to fork over a few bucks for a paid module, each of which as a ton of great stuff. Stephan also brings along some great guest instructors (I highly recommend his BJJ formula module with Rob Biernacki—I could (and probably will) chew on just that content for years). All of Stephan’s Grapplearts work is top notch, and an outstanding supplement to your regular training. Oss!

Best Resource in BJJ

I have used Gracie university, this App, and many other apps on the App Store. There is no doubt that this is the absolute best! The customer service is amazing! The instructors are wonderful. The content is frankly, overwhelming. If you don’t know anything about BJJ, I would highly recommend going step by step through Gracie University or study under a good instructor. Stephan’s roadmap of BJJ (free) is also essential reading. However, if you are further in your BJJ journey, there is absolutely no better resource than this! Thanks Stephan for all you do for the community!
