Ambient Home 4+

They used to be Level, and then changed to ambient. It is a copy cat app that does not work well. I say copy cat because when you sign into the app a warning pops up saying “copy cat app detected, this may not function as expected”. They got that right. The functions don’t work well. The AC usually works the best, everything else never works. But even with the AC part being the best, it still breaks a lot with no fix. Support for the app is a joke. You call the number they provide and the person who answers always says you called the wrong number and says he will contact the right team to follow up with you. They take days to contact you and then don’t help and ignore what you say. Poor app. Wouldn’t recommend.

If the app would stop sending me 45+ notifications within the span of a minute that my front door was unlocked and opened between the witching hours of 3 and 4 am I would appreciate it. This security system secures nothing other than my faith it will inevitably give me a heart attack every so often. Aside from that, the entire interface (ac controls, light switch, doorbell, lock) does not work. I don’t know what pyramid scheme I’m paying monthly to fund but you could at least pretend to give me something out of it.

Apartments switched to this app from old one that t least worked some of the time. I cannot even log into this app. They even send verification codes you cannot see. Then I finally could faintly see enough numbers to log in after blowing up the image and guessing … it said I didn’t have community access. So I guess I don’t live here and pay rent then. Ambient sent me an email after a while to try again but after reading the reviews it’s not worth it.
