I love what you all do there at AB. I have most of your books and they have been a big help in my long range adventure. However, I have to draw the line at forced subscriptions.

The amount of work that looks like goes into your CDMs is awesome, and I can appreciate it, but for people that only need a few of them and can get by with G1 or G7 models for most shooting is not worth it. I would be willing to pay a few bucks for an app to have unlimited profiles, then a few bucks a piece for the few CDMs I would like to use. There will be no recurring payment for additional features I will not use. Hopefully there will be a happy medium found one day in this dichotomy that applies not only to phone apps these days.

Hello, for those that don't need access to the CDMs the app is free. Also for any previous users of the app upgrading/grandfathering into Elite is free. Upgrading to Elite will unlock them if a user wants that feature. The Ultralite (free) version of the app includes the entire bullet library G1/G7 and reticle library at no charge. I hope they get the bugs figured out, but it just constantly freezes and crashes, half my profiles had disappeared (were there first time I opened the app then they just vanished) and just now I made sure it’s the latest version and now ALL of my profiles are gone. user interface to get a solution is terrible and gets stuck on say range card making it unable to change any input. It seems as if where buttons are suppose to be they just stop working randomly. and instead of “folders” ie guns that you can build different loads for, all profiles are on the same screen so you scroll and scroll and scroll and then they all disappear. But mostly the crashing and freezing and user interface makes it miserable. I actually built profiles in Hornady, which I also don’t like, for the first time in like 3 years since downloading it because it is so terrible. Reached out a week or so ago and haven’t heard anything back from them. Little cloud symbol I’m guessing is sync, shows a check mark. I really hate the app now, it’s useless. Also it wouldn’t even find my nor my buddies kestrel to even try to link up to. It feels like they didn’t even test it to see if it worked, just pushed the beta version to everyone. I’ve left probably 3 reviews of products in my life but this warrants it unfortunately. If things improve I’ll amend my review

Hello, we are working hard on stability and bug fixes as well as feature enhancements to provide a better experience. Update 3.1.1 is available now with some of those. If you are having issues with the app (we are on version 3.1.1) then please use the in app support button to report those so we can get them fixed. We are looking into ideas and ways to better sort profiles, the current system was designed so that it is compatible with device integration. Nested profiles cannot be synced to AB devices. Kestrel devices are coming January of 2025 (this is stated inside the app on the devices menu).

If you are having issues with the app, hit that support button and let us know. We can only fix things that are reported to us.

Update: it seems that this issue only applies to whatever profiles you have remaining from the old version of the app. If you recreate the profile from the scratch - all calcs are correct. So, removing one star for backward compatibility issues, otherwise great app.

It fails to do the only thing it is intended to be doing - actual ballistics calculation. Using AB Custom Curves gets it all over the place. You can simply select a bullet from collection, set all the data, set zero at whatever distance and then it will show you around .5 - 1 MRAD correction for the same distance as you set zero to. No wind, no nothing.

6) Zero is at 100 yards when shooting at 100 meters or vice versa 7) Inclination angle. Or other factors. If the zero distance is not reading zero, their is an input that needs to be addressed.
