Terrible UI
To activate highlighter you have to use a shortcut in every single page. To deactivate it there is no shortcut and you have to use click menu every single time. And while it is active, there is always a colorful dot moving with your cursor. So distracting!
It should be like that: when you select a part of the text, a small symbol should appear at the end of the selected text and when you click it the selected part should be highlighted. It's that simple. I think they have spent lots of hours to make it unuseful.

Dear user, Thank you for your review, I'm taking notes of all of them.The app already has a "hotkey" to activate the highlighter. Just keep the Option key pressed and the highlighter will activate. Well enough
the only missing part of it is not being able to highlight pdfs on safari. Execpt that, its all good enough
