Buggy
My 501s pro will not respond to auto land, circle or return home buttons.
Pretty buggy app, shame as the drone works really well. Just needs a little more investment in getting the app right.
Maybe will improve with next update.
Sophisticated and Stable
This is a very decent app, stable and mostly straightforward to use. One weakness though is that there is no documentation (at least I haven’t found any) - this app has some advanced features that do need some explaining, especially as the translation from Chinese is a bit clunky in places. Oh and all the 501s complaints giving one star - come on people, the 501s doesn’t have WiFi so how could it possibly work!
Frustrating....
I’ve not actually written a review in here before, but being a developer I do get frustrated with stupidity.
Having bought a drone for around £300 I downloaded the app. It was at this point I have to register to use the drone. Firstly, why should I have to register? I’ve paid my money it’s my drone, I have a controller. Why register? But it’s required, unfortunately their website is down. So I cannot register, I cannot use the drone.
When you develop think about the things that can go wrong. Not just the happy path!!
Can’t say whether the app is any good, can’t get past the register page.
