Worth it for the rent reporting alone

I had no credit history before joining but after just a few months my score has gone up loads. It’s mad how big a difference it has made! I love I didn’t have to do anything after setting it up too. It did take a little while to understand how it exactly worked when I first heard about it but it’s actually really simple. Essentially the money you pay Wollit each month then gets reported to Experian, Transunion and Equifax and the credit agencies take this into account when calculating your credit score. Wollit’s rent reporting feature is great for building your credit report too. Since joining I’ve been able to get approved for a couple of credit cards to also help build up my score. Can’t see any reason not to use Wollit.

Be aware

They looking dodgy almost scam like. They have very few banks you can connect.
They offered me 1.000 promise income while my income is double that amount. But my business account is not available to connect so I offered them bank statements showing income 2.400 and a drop in April and May due to lock down (£1.000) and they said they offer 1.000 promise cause of that and to pay and they’ll reviewed it in 3 months again. Meaning to pay them knowing they’ll never offer me a penny. Why would I pay for that? I’m an IT engineer not a minimum wage worker. Sorry lockdown happened and reduced the working days in half those months but at least I was working while 60-70% of ppl was having 0 income those 2 months. Beware could easily be a scam and by the time you realise it will already taken 30-50£ from each of us. With the fake promise of increasing it in the future. When I offered proof that what they offered is baseless(more than 6 months statements) they took the 1000£ income promise offer of the table, rejected the application and stopped answering to emails. Classic scam tactic right?
UPDATE: I see, even tho I left you alone to do what you doing, you want round 2. Don’t call me this time tho cause if you do, you won’t like it

I have to say, using Wollit now since last year and the way they help to report your Rent and monthly payment is so seamless.

I literally only had to link a few things and it was done. They take care and handle the rest, while I’ve literally just sat back and made sure my payments were on time. I’ve been looking to get a mortgage, and was really concerned at how low my score was given that I didn’t have any bad debt, and just a handful of missed payments.

Being able to monitor all my klarna loans and things via Wollit was actually quite helpful in keeping an eye on things. Now that my score is perfectly above 800 it’s really increased my confidence to get the best rate possible for my mortgage offer and also increase my loan affordability! ✨
