I would give this a 0 Star if I could. Does not work on phone when your phone connects to WiFi in house. In fact it has only worked once and then it doesn’t give you time to answer. I’ve only had it installed for a month now and can’t even answer the intercom. Gate engineer said there was lots of problems/complaints with it and the old version with SIM and phone calls is much better. We share gate with neighbours and if they press the open button down it locks the gates open all the time and we can’t override it to shut it at night and after walk all the way down to the end of drive at middle of night.... And for the gate engineer to say that it’s installed and the company won’t take it back now is rubbish... It’s not fit for purpose and I for one will take AES to the small claims court if they don’t replace it with another model. It’s not fit for purpose.. If you bought a TV and it did not work the manufacture wouldn’t say sorry you’ve taken it out of box now.... I think the reviews say it all... See you in court AES

I recently had the predator WiFi 2 device fitted to our front gates because of problems with the original hardwired intercom device. It required combined skills of electrician, intercom specialist and Wifi expert. Eventually it was fitted successfully, but getting WiFi signal from a very well insulated property to the gates (barely 10m away), remains problematic.
Given the cost of the intercom device (albeit very well constructed), one would have expected the app - on which the whole thing depends - to be of similar quality. Unfortunately, as others have commented, it has a very 20th century look to it.
There is not option for screen rotation
Buttons are huge, yet despite this text and icons overlap.
Home page buttons are partly off the top of the screen (on iPhone X) making ‘settings’ very difficult to access.
Relay triggers are modifiable - but only up to 9 secs - this isn’t long enough for the gate to close before it locks out.
Several
People have commented on similar concerns over the last 12 months, but is anything being done to resolve this? I don’t see any evidence of improvements.

2 updates in last 24hrs. App has never worked well - extremely slow - but since updates, works on tablet, but does not ring on iPhone. Any suggestions? Currently completely unfit for purpose.

So I’m able to get notifications to my devices, and able to see a video feed and chat to visitors. Can also open the gate via the apps and it appears to work quickly. The other reviews identified these issues and just wanted to point out that these appear to have all been fixed. Also the response time between pressing the open button on the app and the gates actually opening is nearly instant. (I live in the county with really poo internet so this is a big deal).

However the app is so dated and needs a complete overhaul from a deign perspective, also the settings aspects is so confusing, they must be an easier way to display these settings. One small note, when you open the app there is a loading screen showing the app logo, which delays the user from instantly accessing the controls for the gate, is there any way to speed this up?
