Welcome Pickups 4+

Initially very worried because it was my first time travelling to Morocco, and the usual platforms (Uber/Bolt) does not operate there. I must say, Welcome Pickups is the best! I particularly valued how much reassurance they give you: when you book the taxi in advance, they will send you the name and details of your driver. There is n option to share your location so the driver could locate you, and they spoke English which made communication possible (by contrast, Orange taxi, which is the main taxi operator in Morocco, had all their office staff speaking French and I could not understand a word of it). The taxis offered by Welcome Pickups are also super comfortable (Benz), and the driver put on Western pop music during the drive that resonated with members of our group from all age groups. Absolutely amazing service!

I took my partner to Naples for her birthday and wanted everything to be perfect as we were only there for two days. I booked a pickup from the airport and two days later the return journey. They sent me details of the driver, his vehicle and the registration plate. The driver was on time and very courteous. He sorted our luggage and helped her into the car, which was immaculate. We had a different driver on our return journey and the same arrangements were made for us. All in all they made the whole experience absolutely perfect. I will certainly be using this service again without any hesitation.

I arrived outside the station with my 7 month old baby with no driver to be found. I messaged earlier in the app what my train number was. the app was requesting this info but on the screen I could not save it. Only button at the bottom was to cancel trip. I made sure to not press that as it was just bad UX. I messaged the driver in the app directly saying the train number but saw the chat was archived shortly after which was I thought was a bit weird but thought nothing of it. Messaged when we arrived and eventually called him, only to be told the trip has been cancelled. Clearly there was a bug in the app.

No alternative options given. My wife was already stressed out about travelling with a baby and this is their first trip to Paris. Evening ruined as we’ve been travelling for the last 8 hours!!! We were excited because we thought this will be an easy way to get to our hotel with a baby but we’ve just been let down big time!
