Water Connect Flow 12+

The game itself is amazing, it helps calm my anxiety by distracting my mind. The graphics are great too, however I would love to have an option to play without ads.. so like £2.99 to play as free (for example) because it’s every time you pass a level and it becomes quite annoying.

I thought I’d try this after enjoying playing Water Connect, also made by the same developers. The differences between the two games are few and far between. If anything this is far too simple, but the killer for me is the amount of ads that this game forces upon you with no way to pay to remove them. After the first level there is an ad. You then play a couple of levels and there is another. This just repeats and there is no way to stop the ads from playing until they have been on the screen for at least 30 seconds, if not longer. I can usual tell within a few seconds if if interested in installing a game, so once I’ve seen it and dismissed it there is no point in showing it me again a few seconds later. When I say a few seconds, I mean it, because the puzzles are so simple that’s all it takes. It may become more difficult as you progress through the levels, but I’ve now given up after just 10 levels and will remove the game from my phone.

Wanted to review this before I delete it as I’ve been playing, very casually, for a cpl of years or so and have enjoyed the game as a five minute distraction. Unfortunately, a recent update has rendered it anything but fun! The introduction of ‘move’ limits is clearly designed to increase ad revenue as you now have to pay (via a 40 second ad) for every 10 moves! Billed as ‘more challenging’, I call it frustrating and tedious, not fun! Such a shame as now I won’t be watching a single further ad whereas before (10 second ad per level) I was watching several every day! Lesson to the wise - this is how to kill your app STONE DEAD!☠️
P.s. They also killed off the ‘tube’ version of levels which were far far more entertaining that the aqueduct ones!
