Astonishingly good value
I use this app, free without cloud service, with an indoor Cinnado 2K camera costing just £16 delivered plus abt £10 for an SD card. It all works perfectly and seems fully featured to me. I guess the low price is subsidised by the cloud service charge which I won’t be getting anyway.
Privacy issue?
Like the camera, app and features which are much better than kami app for other kami camera I have. Main issue is I have device microphone turned off in settings, yet on playing back a clip this morning I could hear myself talking in the background so it had recorded everything I said!! Very naughty and may lead me to return after Christmas if not resolved. Also Alexa integration does not work as can’t view live feed on fire tv stick as just keeps buffering but never shows live image. I emailed customer support over two weeks ago about this and they never bothered replying.
Latest update ruined it
Please update your app, there are barely any controls over replaying videos. You can no longer zoom in to find a specific time, and you can no longer download the piece of the video you want - only lets you download the whole block and then you have to watch and edit it with the iPhone photos app. What happened? It was very good before then but surely the point in this app is to check what’s been happening???
I will change my review to 5 stars when this is sorted because it was very good before this. Annoying. If it ain’t broken, dont fix it.
