Description

Do you live with an energy-limiting health condition? Join over 100,000 people with Long Covid, ME/CFS, POTS, Fibro and more who are improving their pacing with Visible.

Pacing means balancing activities and rest to avoid crashes and live better with your condition. It helps you get the most from the energy you have, but it can be challenging to implement in real life. That's where Visible comes in. Unlike fitness tracking apps, Visible uses data and technology to help with rest and pacing, not workouts and exercise.

MEASURE YOUR PACE
Use your phone’s camera to measure your biometrics, including HRV and Resting Heart Rate each morning, so you can better understand your stability and pace your day.

TRACK AND SPOT PATTERNS
Keep track of your symptoms, medication, and exertion daily to spot patterns in your illness and see what lifestyle changes are impacting your health.

HEALTH REPORT AND EXPORT
Download your monthly and long-term health reports to get an overview of your trends and share them with your doctor.

TAKE PART IN RESEARCH
Opt-in to studies with world-leading researchers to volunteer your data and help advance the science of invisible illness.

GET ALL DAY DATA
If you have a wearable armband, connect it to the Visible app to get real-time pacing notifications, PacePoints, all-day energy budgeting, and more.

THOUSANDS OF 5-STAR REVIEWS

“Visible has been LIFE-CHANGING. I had fibromyalgia before COVID and thought I did well at pacing, but this has helped me on a whole new level.” – Roma

“This is the first app in the 33 years since I have been diagnosed with this condition that shows me the data my doctor and I need. Fitness apps don't work well because they are not geared for people with POTS and PEM. This is the very first app that warns me when I have to SLOW DOWN and the monthly reports help my doctors get a better picture of how I'm doing.” – Lesli

“I've been using Visible for nearly a year now, and I've finally managed to pace effectively. I used to be in a constant boom & bust cycle with an ever-deteriorating baseline. Since using the armband, I've managed to avoid major crashes. I feel more stable and more in control of my condition. Visible has also helped me to figure out I have POTS, and medication for that has also helped.” – Rachel

Extremely useful in monitoring energy

I’ve been using the Visible app for about six weeks now and I really recommend it if you have an energy limiting illness ( in my case ME/CFS.). It has enabled me to stay within my capacity, and has prevented me from getting worse and is even helping me to get a little better. Previously to using the arm band and app, I hadn’t realised how much rest I needed during the day , and Visible has helped me to to identify what activities stress my body most (for example, even simple things like walking upstairs 😯), and when I’ve rested enough to compensate for overdoing things. It’s also given me the courage to walk ( albeit slowly) in the countryside …..one of my favourite things to do… and I know that if I keep my eye on the app it’ll tell me if I’m in danger of overdoing it. I’m so delighted to have come across this device-plus-app , and am impressed by the open and ready communication with the team at Visible. I highly recommend getting the two things, the armband and the app. They provide an objective measurement in real time in a situation when direct feedback has stopped working (it’s only days after over exertion that I usually get feedback, the typical hallmark of “post exertion malaise”).
Visible provide “extras” too, such as breathing exercises, blogs, monthly summaries etc. Very useful. And also ….. it doesn’t cost the earth.

Developer Response ,

Thank you so much for this detailed and thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear that Visible has made such a positive difference in managing your ME/CFS, helping you stay within your capacity and even make progress. We’re also so glad to hear it’s given you the confidence to enjoy walks in the countryside again, while keeping an eye on your energy levels to prevent overdoing it.

Thank you for highly recommending the app and armband! Wishing you continued strength, balance, and more peaceful walks in the countryside!

Helps so much with pacing!

I’ve had long covid for over a year now and this app is the single most helpful thing for managing my energy levels. I’ve just upgraded to visible plus after using the free version for ~7 months and it really is worth paying for (although the price is a massive barrier for a lot of people!). It is SO GOOD to have an objective measurement of my energy use, since my symptoms seem to fluctuate quite randomly and can’t be relied upon to determine my pacing. I’ve been surprised by how many pace points various activities take and this knowledge has allowed me to make changes to my daily routine. The real-time over-exertion notifications are also infinitely better than waiting 2 days to see whether an activity gives me PEM! I also love that it’s been developed by someone with LC - it’s very clear that he has used his own experience and made it so specific to this illness, but it’s also customisable which is great. It would be really helpful if I could manually set an intended bedtime at the beginning of the day; the pace setter currently assumes the day ends at midnight so is only really accurate if that’s when you actually go to bed (I go to bed much earlier!). All in all, a very useful app with some improvements still to be made, but I am so glad this exists.

Hey Jessica,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this review. It's so great to hear that you're finding Plus so helpful as an objective way to measure your energy and to support your pacing.

Thanks for your feedback about how we could improve Plus, I will share your thoughts with the team. If you do have any further thoughts and ideas don't hesitate to share them using the 'Help and Feedback' section of the app.

Game changer

At first when I got this device I was so excited but after using it for several days it hit me how ill I was and how little I could do . I thought I had come to terms with my illness but I hadn’t and I went downhill for sometime , I thought I’d been pacing well but I hadn’t . I got this device( whom I call Victor😅)because i truly want to help myself and have a better quality of life and I believe that this will help me. In the short time I’ve had it I’ve learned so so much . I now shower with a stool and it saves me Pace Points , I’ve turned my home upside down to make it work for me , it’s been incredible and now my only complaint is “ I’d wished I had got it years ago “ No one’s saying this is a cure and it’s not a quick fix but i honestly believe that in time my quality of life will be so much better and I am so grateful for Victor Visible , he even tells me when I’m over exerting so I can sit down and of course save my PP’s because that’s what it’s all about saving Points ☺️ Thank you to the incredible people that invented this and are always there with help and advice , your amazing 🖤
