Version 2.42.0
Journey Tracker is now available across Virgin Australia's entire domestic network.
Powered by Live Activities (iOS 16 and above), Journey Tracker lets you stay up to date on your VA flight with a glance. With information like flight times and departure gate appearing on your lock screen. And no more panicking to open your boarding pass at the gate. You can now access it with one tap from your lock screen.
To start Journey Tracker, add your upcoming VA flight to the VA app. Then open the VA app within three hours of flying.

Seat selection
My agent already booked us on seats 6a and b bu when checking in I am pushed to selecting other seats which is a bit irritating
Frustrating app
Does not show points or status credits accurately. Always errors when trying to use the app to check-in. Would be a much more useful tool if it functioned correctly
