Vinland Tales is a Survival Action RPG with casual sandbox game mechanics and big village-building possibilities. You'll experience a new type of survival game with quests, continuous open world progression, frosty surprises in dark winter and opportunities to raid until the Armageddon comes knocking.

Chop every tree, hunt rabbits and deer, stone and copper mining - resource management are a staple of every survival game, and Vinland Tales is no different. However, we threw away the hunger games in favor of a replenishable health pool so you can start every game session on exploration instead of just preventing yourself from dying.

From setting up your first camp to building an entire Viking village, you'll be pretty busy making a home for yourself and all the rescued clansmen that turn up to settle as workers. Manage their resource refining jobs, build houses and enhance the settlement with wells and defense structures.

Craft your weaponry from a selection of clubs, swords, bows, spears and more. Upgrade them to make pointy ends even more pointy, embellish your craft with gems and their attributes, and poke around at the armies of the Ragnarök, bandit bosses and other generally unfriendly folk.

Dive into dark medieval history and unravel the story of Leif Eriksson, known as the great Viking explorer; lead the siege to the strongholds of other survivor players, or build the mining shafts and worship sites for Thor and Odin. Crafting history has never been more fun!

No help option or info
It seems like a decent game for potential, but some things just don’t work well. When your character dies, inventory slots are made unusable, which is weird, so I have less space even though I bought the extra slots. To mine I need axes, but they break so I can’t mine anything, which is needed for quests. Healing is a nightmare, as food does naff all and death from combat quick when all weapons and armour falls apart and can’t be repaired or replaced. Character dies more, inventory slots are lost, no chance to carry the stuff needed to stay alive. Why is this? It is a good game, but you have to learn from mistakes, no real tutorial. Very much enjoying it!
Character levelling
So far I’ve been playing this for around 6 weeks and only jus managed to get the settlement up to level 2 would like to of had different unlockable weapons and armour more earlier on in the levels as only being able to use a club for the first 30+ levels is a little long to wait!! Also could there be any gates introduced to place within the walls of your base so we can get in and out easier but o we all a nice game to play
Has potential
I like it’s for casual players. Hate the have to join clan games, but the game has been released far from a working version. No tutorial to help new players, quests don’t work. You soon get to a point there’s nothing to do and far too quickly which will make players leave and kill the game. Getting resources is difficult and to earn things you need you have to constantly go chop wood or mine stone .. rinse and repeat repetitive which once again kills the game. Updates needed and fast before it’s another good game dead to the world
