When you are new to business getting to grips with VAT can be hard. So many suppliers only display ex VAT prices which can be confusing and doesn’t make it clear how much you’re actually going to be charged. We built Easy VAT Calculator to help solve this problem.
With our VAT Calculator, you simply put in an amount and calculate the price including or excluding VAT. You can then copy your results for use elsewhere.
If you are new to the world of business then you may need some help with more than just VAT. That's why in version 1.2.0 and we have added Resources, a hub of tools and services to help you get started with your business. Resources has links to various regulatory services as well as tools and books to help you plan out your business. This is just the beginning of our work to make this app both the simplest VAT Calculator and a hub of other useful tools services and products for startups and new businesses.
Currently, this VAT Calculator only supports the standard UK VAT rate, we’ll be adding other VAT rates in the future.
We are not VAT experts so if you do have any queries regarding VAT and how it works then we recommend visiting the gov.uk website for more details.
This app is for UK VAT only but we've made it available globally in case you're working abroad, and because we'll be adding other calculations in the future for other markets.

VAT element not visible
I am a pro user, which means i have paid a couple of quid to be able to use this app. Every quarter I sit down to wade through my VAT return which is one of the worst parts of running a business. This app calculates the vat element of a figure but then hides the pennies amount and i have to use a calculator to work out the VAT element, if i hadn’t paid for the app i would just delete it and use another one. I have paid for it, and i’ve sent multiple message in feedback and all to no avail. Maybe if you have a larger screen on the phone it is visible, but on my iphone se it isn’t. It’s an easy thing for them to fix, shame they haven’t as they now have a 1 star review.

We’re happy to say the feedback has been taken onboard and we’re close to realising a major new version of the app that includes, among other things, a fix for this issue. Disappointed in this app
Paid for upgrade. Now no history showing
Also states different countries are available. None for Ireland and you can’t add it as a custom one. Bought this as I live In Northern Ireland and travel across border to South of Ireland for business
Each time have to enter Ireland rates manually as there are three rates in Ireland for Vat.
Have sent email to customer services to ask for explanation but the email came back with reason address could not be found or is unable to receive emails
Very disappointed in this app and the description is very misleading. Am requesting a refund

This app is a side project so getting updates out can take longer than usual, thank you for your patience and hope you enjoy the update.
