Description

British Fanzine of the Year for 2012, United We Stand was first published in 1989 when Manchester United was a very different club to now. We've since published over 200 issues - 11 per season - and the mag has long been established as one of Britain's best selling football fanzines.

The majority of UWS writers watch Manchester United home and away. They're influential, incisive, irreverent and work for a mag which is proudly independent and funded by sales. Each issue featured 44 pages and tells it like it is at MUFC. We have excellent contacts and offer informed opinions on all United aspects, from insider tidbits to sharp writers and award winning columnists like Jim White.

UWS done in depth interviews with United related personalities from Roy Keane to Ian Brown, Sir Alex Ferguson to officials like David Gill, Martin Edwards and Peter Kenyon, but there's far more to us than interviews.

We hope you enjoy United We Stand.

The iPad/iPhone edition brings you selected pages from the latest issue as soon as it is available. You can subscribe within the application for full access, which brings you every page of the issue and a searchable archive back to April 2012. Issues are not sold individually - for the duration of your subscription you have access to every issue in this archive.

During your subscription you can sync back issues to your device. These will remain in place if your subscription expires, unless your device removes them (for example when running low on disk space). Re-downloading issues requires a current subscription.

• Swipe or tap the page edges to flip to next/previous page.
• Use the animated thumbnail view to flick through the pages.
• Pinch or double-tap pages to zoom.
• Switch between single or double-page view.
• Search the current issue or the archive.
• Tap any page links to web sites, email addresses, phone numbers or maps.
• Tap contents-page links to jump to a particular article.
• Sync back issues to your device for offline reading (requires wi-fi).
• Network connection required otherwise.

We recommend first running the app within a wi-fi area so it can sync the latest issue to your device - after that you can use it anywhere. Subscribers will receive new issues automatically.

Subscriptions are available within the app at the following prices:

Monthly £2.29
Annually £25.99

In addition, please note the following standard features of auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Your payment will be charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions will renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

A must subscribe or buy!

I have been reading this fanzine for years, and I can honestly say that it is money well spent if you subscribe or buy when you are at OT on match day. The most important point that I will say is that, this is an independent magazine, and that word independent is an important description. It is written by the fans for the fans, it is funny, informative, loyal, and most importantly tells the truth about what fellow fans think, and not what the club thinks from a 'best for business' perspective. It is non politically correct, which in my opinion makes it refreshing, value for money, and like minded. 5 stars!!!!!

UWS App - Fantastic

I'm a paper edition subscriber and loyalist but this is fantastic.
Easy to use, clear to read - a true compliment to the always thoughtful, absorbing and engrossing content.
Great work Andy, UWS and everyone who helped them bring this out. True vision. I hope it helps to keep UWS alive and out in front for the years ahead.
A publication and app that the supporters of the finest club in the World can be proud of.

The best fanzine

UWS is by far and away the best United fanzine anywhere, the effort they go to give insights from a fans point of view makes them stand out. I also recommend listening to the podcast, it's one of my go too podcasts every week, download this app and subscribe to the fanzine to help support what has become a United institution.
