So I want to have this app just in case I forgot my school bus pass. But for some reason it dose not want to work because when I try to register it, it keep on not working I try many time but it just not working so could you please tell me why or I’m just stupid.

Hi you can register Zoom passes on the App. However, you cannot use the App as proof of travel, you'll still need your Zoom pass for that. If you are still having issues please contact us on help@sytravelmaster.com

The scanning of the smartcard is a daunting process. Most of the times it does not scan the card and after 100 attempts it scans if I am lucky. The nfc loading function needs to improve

Sorry to hear you are having problems with scanning your card to load products. The process requires you to have a good internet connection at the time of scanning. The smartcards need a longer connection to load the product to the card so please hold the card still over the reader until the process is complete.

We'll also take your feedback and share it with the relevant developers so this can be monitored.

Trust TravelMaster to come up with a third rate app. Still have to download on to a smart card instead of app. Then you have to mess about scanning the card which is very hit and miss. Why not just have an app and do away with smartcards? But when do TravelMaster do anything for the weary South Yorkshire bus travellers? A missed opportunity yet again.

We understand that it can be difficult to continue to use smartcards in some scenarios where other options may look better but we work within an environment where we need to ensure all operators can accept whatever ticket we produce. At the moment that's smartcards but we are working on adding day tickets and flexi (books of day) tickets to the app for people who prefer to use their phone. This will only be in day ticket form, as it is important to us to get the data from smartcards to ensure we treat operators fairly for the journeys you take on the tickets.

We regularly engage with suppliers regarding new ways to get tickets and as soon as there is a financially viable solution which can be accepted across South Yorkshire operators then we will work to roll these out. Whilst you may see this as a missed opportunity what we will always endeavour to do is to ensure the customer experience is as easy as possible with the constraints we work in.
