Nice app when you get used to it
Confusing at first to understand how to get the initial setup working, but has some useful functionality and videos that help get things working as you want.
Automates my Somfy blinds and Velux windows
Works well with my Somfy blinds (using Telis 4 RTS remotes) and Velux windows (using KLR00 io remotes). Once you’ve created your “house” through the drag and drop operation, it’s then very easy to add Somfy and Velux devices (don’t need to touch the actual devices - it’s all done through the remote controls only), program scenarios, and to remote control the devices from my iPhone and iPad. The Tahoma is a little on instruction manuals - you have to rely on intuition and google searches to find out how to set up your devices, but actually it’s not difficult.
Cannot access configuration menu
This is a well reported issue. Without the config menu you cannot set up your RTS appliances to work with TaHoma. I have contacted Somfy support 5 times - each time they make the right noises - and then nothing. Absolutely useless, they have no clue what the problem is and no interest in resolving.
ARE YOU INTERESTED AT ALL WITH CUSTOMER SUPPORT? THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN REPORTED MULTIPLE TIMES BY NUMEROUS CUSTOMERS AND YOU DO NOTHING! ITS A DISGRACE!!!
