TAG Heuer Connected 4+

The watch itself is stunning and for the most part it woks as you’d expect. However there are a few issues with simple tasks like updating software etc. the updates are shown available and when clicked are stuck forever “pending”.
I’m on day 2 of waiting to update the software and apps and there appears now way of actually finishing the updates. I’ve tried restarting the watch, restarting the phone apps and nothing. It’s a shame because as a smart watch this doesn’t seem to “smart”.

When doing updates, you need to be connected to Wifi (WearOS has allowed lately to go on the PlayStore with Bluetooth only, but it is really not optimum to download updates as it takes longer). Also, we recommend that you activate automatic updates (PlayStore > Settings), like that when your watch is connected to Wifi and on charge, your apps will be updated automatically. Have a good day!

I’ve read many of the reviews and most mention about the depth of detail and also the amount of faces. I think for the brand the face range is limited. They’re should be far more faces being developed and far more being offered in updates for the amount the watch costs. Why don’t you release a Monaco face Gulf etc or more that are in tune with 2021?? The appearance makes the watch so I would definitely focus on this area.

So after the new lens watch face was reinforced the E3 spent a day trying to get to work, rebooting watch and iPhone just 3 dots.. then next morning guess what it worked 😵‍💫 and is actually quite good.. I like this watch but I’m afraid it’s no where as slick as the Apple Watch.. but it does look better..! The fact you have to keep an app running all the time just to keep the Watch connected is poor.

Hello! Thank you for contacting us! When the app is updated, the new watchface should be in the watchface gallery "+ see more watchfaces" on the right of the gallery. However, the best way to download Helios is to use the TAG Heuer Connected app, Helios watchface is now listed in the watchface collection. Then, you can click on the button on the right to install the watchface on your watch. Once installed, taping on this same button activates the watchface on the watch!
