Celebrate with food from overseas
I ordered food for my mom’s birthday from two restaurants using this app. One of them delivered in 20 mins. Other one took some time to deliver. However, the service was good and delivery was traceable. I feel happy making my mom surprised on her special occasion although I couldn’t be with her.
Lying to customers, taking their money and giving food to strangers. DO NOT USE SWIGGY
Please do not use Swiggy to order food instead use Zomato and Blinkit. I am a foreigner staying in India and in 3 weeks I have had my food given to a complete stranger, keep in mind I don’t think many Indians look like they have a completely white name. Had a driver take my cash and not give me change and a customer service representative telling me I would get a coupon for the amount taken (he was lying I was then told on email I would get nothing for this) and a delivery driver sit in a car park for 20 minutes opposite my location before delivering my food and blaming me for this.
After emailing customer support I was told I would hear back in 12-24 hours. It was a week later and I heard nothing from them and had to email 3 more times, still nothing, and finally after using the support chat (they have no other way to contact them) I finally heard back and was told I would receive no coupon or any sort of compensation for these horrible experiences not even the coupon I was told I would receive.
Of all the delivery apps this is the worst just save yourself the hassle and use Blinkit or Zomato or any other delivery app.

Unskilled and Unprofessional
Having used swiggy in a lot of different cities, this is a recurring thing that happens, but today it set the mark of Swiggy being the WORST food delivery app, The fact that the delivery executives have the ability to cancel the order depending on whether they can find your house or not is ridiculous, and the fact that MY ACCOUNT GETS CHARGED AS WELL for the delivery executives not being able to locate my house is actually LAUGHABLE!!!! Best believe the delivery guy is eating my order right now WHILST I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR THE ORDER THAT I DIDN'T EVEN RECEIVE. Best part is the delivery executive lied to the customer care saying I didn't pick up the phone, when in reality I was calling him since the time he called me saying he wasn't able to find the street!
Swiggy needs to start TRAINING THEIR STAFF TO READ MAPS , and train them how to speak with people- the delivery executive said he couldn't find my house and I should come to the gate of my society??? Why?? Isn't the point of a food delivery app is to get the FOOD DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR??
I am super disappointed in the service, And I hope people will think before they chose to WASTE their money on such an UNRELIABLE app.
