A journal article published in the International Journal of Language and Communication Disorders in 2001 found that when people with Parkinson’s Disease used a swallow reminder their saliva management improved. (Drooling in Parkinsons’ disease: a novel speech and language therapy intervention. Int J Lang Commun Disord. 2001;36 Suppl:282-7. Marks L, Turner K, O'Sullivan J, Deighton B, Lees A).
Swallow Prompt can be used during normal device usage (excluding phone calls) and when your device is in standby mode (screen off) in order to preserve battery charge.

Almost there
This would be perfect if it sent notifications to Apple Watch
Developer Response ,
We've now added Apple Watch support so I guess we're perfect :-)
Disappointed
I bought this app to trial on my Apple Watch before recommending it my father who has Parkinson’s Disease and struggles with drooling. Most disappointed, you are unable to modify settings from the app, have to go to the App Store. It is not discrete on the Apple Watch as you are unable to activate vibrate rather it makes a sound. Thankfully it only cost 89p!
Developer Response ,
Hi, for silent operation you need to enable silent mode on the Apple Watch. Unfortunately, that's the only way at the moment to achieve this as iOS doesn't support vibration without audio.
Thank you
For creating this. As a speech therapist I trial this will my neuro patients. So easy to use in clinic, hospital and home settings.
