Great app!!
It’s excellent if you have little time, don’t want to spend bags of money on yoga classes and want to get flexible, or just exercise a little each day!
The beginner classes aren’t really beginner in my opinion though, but I don’t mind I like a bit of challenge, and it also always gives you options how to modify the exercises to your level of flexibility, just need a few yoga blocks:)
I like it that I can schedule classes and I can pick and choose whatever I’m in the mood for or can go through with a specific program for back bend, splits, toe touch etc whatever is your goal!
It’s also really nice that you don’t just get flexible but exercise those muscles at the same time, so doing a 30mins class each morning is basically the daily exercise done!
I used this app throughout the first lockdown to get some exercise, but signed up for it again, as all the good habits I’ve built during lockdown went to the bin when I returned to work, but really everyone can give up 15-30 mins of scrolling each day to stretch a little even next to a full time job I think.

Great exercises but lacking app/production quality
The exercise on this app are excellent, they really push me more in unique and interesting ways, with surprising variations on the one i’m familiar with from traditional yoga.
These are however let down a little by the overalls production value: i wish they would always tell me when to breath and not breath at start of a new move, sometimes we have done 3 cycles of it before breathing is mentioned or it is not mentioned at all. Simple graphic in corner could be retrospectively added to all these videos with breath timing. The moment the video starts it’s do this stretch, yoga videos usually have a 10-30 seconds of just come to the matt, check you have some blocks and settle into a seated position, few deep breaths then go. I know this isn’t yoga exactly but it could benefit from some of this. When I chromecast a video, it is not tracked that it was completed on the app. If I am watching a video and click off it or change app, my place is completely forgotten. Simple stuff would make this so much pleasanter to use.

Good app but…
I’ve been using the StretchIt app for a while, and overall, I enjoy the stretching routines and find them beneficial. The exercises are well-designed, and it’s easy to follow along with the video demonstrations.
However, one major issue I’ve encountered is the inconsistency in workout lengths. Some sessions are very short, around 6-8 minutes, while others suddenly jump to 40-50 minutes. This makes it challenging to plan my morning routine because I’m never quite sure if I’m getting a quick stretch or a longer session. The lack of consistency in class lengths has been very off-putting, and after a few months, I’ve decided to stop using the app. It would be much better if they offered programs with more predictable workout times, ideally in a similar range, like 20-30 minutes.
I’ll consider revisiting the app next year to see if they’ve updated their program structure. For now, though, I’ll be taking a break from it.

It means a lot ❤️ We suggest you to create your own personalized program ('Start Training' on the Home screen -> 'Create Program') where you can choose the duration of the classes (as well as your program length, intensity, and trainers). By answering a few questions, you can get a custom plan that aligns with your goals, preferences, and skill level. This way, you can ensure your sessions fit your schedule and meet your preferences. Also, you can always manually add additional classes from the Classes list on the days when you'd like to train more. Just be sure to give yourself time to recover to avoid overtraining. Hope this helps!
