Sandbox is the unlimited sequel to our Strategy & Tactics: World War II. We've abandoned historical restrictions and turn limits making your task deceptively simple – take command of any European army and lead it to victory in World War 2.

You can recreate the actual politics of the era - or not. For instance, as Great Britain you could side with the USSR to crush Germany – or you could disable the historical alliances and lead America to conquer Europe...

Random events like guerrilla movements, landing operations, and voluntary recalls will ensure endless replayability and the uniqueness of each game session. You’ll be making your own history!

Sandbox: Strategy & Tactics – war is coming!

Game Features:
- Accurate maps of Europe and Asia with over 950 regions
- 4 types of ship: Battleship, Cruiser, Submarine, Destroyer
- 39 playable countries
- Will you use infantry, aircraft, artillery, and armored vehicles? You choose how to bring the enemy to their knees!
- You decide how to spend the resources from the conquered territories: will you grow your army or boost R&D?
- Random event system: landing operations, revolutions, changing Coalitions
---------------------------------------------------
***NOTE: Compatible with iPhone 5 and up, iPad 2 and up – may not work properly on earlier devices.***

Great game but..

I love this game and it is very difficult at first until you learn different aspects of the game. however I think there should be a difficulty setting allowing for a more relaxed and sandbox time instead of having to worry about 1 motorised unit taking half your territory's. this might be implemented by having the enemy have less chance of attacking your territory’s or restricting the amount of resources they get each turn. I think this would improve the game by allowing not so experienced players to enjoy it and actually have a fun time while learning the game instead of having to worry about dying within 10 turns but apart from this. This is a very enjoyable game and heavily recommend.

Amazing :)

This game is something else, it’s really good. This game is very punishing if you make a mistake on a turn so be very careful and think about your next move. The thing I like about this game is that you can save and continue from where you left off. So when I’m in class I play or when I’m on the bus another great thing is you don’t need wifi or mobile data

Tips:

If you’re starting a new game I highly advise you to play as the USSR, playing as France is really hard for beginners. The USSR have high income and many soldiers. When playing the USSR make sure you play like a wave. I like to call it the Red Tide soldiers one the first wave then artillery then planes behind them. And keep pushing across you can’t lose. Don’t forget to upgrade.

People in the reviews keep complaining about the ads but what they don’t know is you can turn off your wifi/mobile data.

Artillery is really good against soldiers
The bombers are really good for wiping out soldiers
Tanks are good for getting rid of artillery
Bombers are useless against tanks
Fighter jets are really good against tanks

Things I’m not sure about:

The thing I’m not really sure about is when fighters planes have an option to patrol the area. What does that do?

Improvements:
I wish you can set a path ahead of tiles but it would take the same amount of time because it’s quite tedious going back and forth across the screen

Good, but some problems.

It’s a really good game, quite challenging and has a steep learning curve, but that’s what makes it fun I think. I think a few things could be added, such as allowing infantry to travel on water in Landing crafts, but are really weak and don’t have any movement bonuses (such as motorised being able to move twice a turn) Another thing is why can’t I move troops through friendly land? When playing as USA you really only have a 2 level infantry platoon to rely on, as the rest of your force is stuck on the other side of Frances Territory, which it can’t cross. This doesn’t really make sense to me.
