World Conqueror 4 9+

As somebody who has put over 500 hours into this game I have found it very enjoyable for the most part but with a few small issues. It is very hard to get started, as many people will have found out - barely making past 1939 and you need a strategic mindset to get past the final scenarios for any country. After you get your first top tier general, the game becomes a great deal easier but to progress properly, you either need to be bloody committed or pay to progress. Something I found especially hard with the 1943 scenarios is the hugely unstrategic mindset the game tries to force you into, throwing away generals to capture towns, after completing the 1943 scenarios in one very long day, I found it almost impossible to play the conquest. Another issue is the grindy end to every conquest where tou spend around 20 minutes buggering around looking for that 1 US port that they took in like Mexico for example - plz change this devs. Despite these few things, I strongly recommend the game to anyone who wants a long, grindy game but don’t spend money on it if you don’t want to put many hours into completing the game.

I’ve played all the way from world conquered 2 and it definitely has grow into a great franchise. There is no need to pay for the top general, free ones are really all you need. The research tree is good as it gives you something to work towards. However, I believe there are a few minor things they need add. Either in a future update or the next in the world conquerer series. One, there needs to be more upgradable industry and economy similar to what there is in European war 6. The ability to upgrade city level is what an example. Also, the country specific units are a great idea but all countries should have access to super units. Country specific units can still be exist in buffs for a units for a country. In conquest mode I don’t think there should be a general limit as this takes away from the fun of a world conquest. Also the ability to stop being allies and declaring wars on all countries would be great. Really, don’t get me wrong this is a great game. There’s just a few features I believe will make it amazing.

First played this game and loved it more than 5 years ago, completed everything and moved on. Came back to it on a whim 6 months ago and was amazed at how much more the devs have added in as free updates! The value for money you get as the game currently stands is just incredible. Many hours of gameplay. Starter pack is very cheap and very good Generals are available without having to spend cash.

The new update also added new super Pay to Win Generals, they are not needed but are a nice way to support the team and/or cut down on grinding. You only play against AI not PvP so it’s not like you are just a target for ruthless OP players (like myself). The more you play, the stronger you get, which incentivises you to keep playing but you don’t get left behind if you need to take time off due to real life events.
