Sonic Mania Plus - NETFLIX 9+

By the way this review was added when the game first released.~

This game is a dream come true for me, free sonic mania? MOBILE?!? All of the levels run flawlessly (I use an iPhone 13 mini).
However, there are some issues.

1. Why is the main menu not a scrolling menu like Sonic CD mobile? I find it confusing, but not a major issue.

2. Most menu options seem in weird places.
I’m not talking about something like encore mode being in settings (it isn’t), the buttons and options just seem a bit scattered about.

3. I hate the live counter being under the rings counter.
Couldn’t they just have used the spots from the mobile ports of sonic 1, 2 and CD?

4.Why can’t you change the look of the touch d-pad and the size?
I just find it a bit confusing, but not too annoying for me.

Overall, this game is a gift from god, and you should definitely check it out if you have a Netflix subscription.

The game runs extremely smoothly and has amazing replay-ability, with all the characters you can play the game with. I really enjoyed playing as knuckles and sonic out of all of the characters.

The special stages were hard at first but I got used to them and now they are really fun to play, however special stage 3 and 5 are a bit difficult with the d-pad controls but not impossible. The checkpoint stages are extremely hard with the d-pad controls but I’m not too bothered about them.

This is my favourite sonic game so far, the background music feels relaxing (in my opinion) it’s for everyone, and it is so fun! I completed the game on Nintendo switch but not on mobile, thanks for the brilliant sonic game! Maybe in the future everyone will be this! I’m happy it’s finally on mobile, i played this so much as a kid (I am a kid) all the support, thanks for the game!
