Description
Shearwater Cloud links your mobile device to your Shearwater dive computer. It allows you to download and manage your dive logs, update your dive computer firmware, and use cloud storage.
Using Bluetooth LE technology, you can quickly and easily download your dive logs to Shearwater Cloud. Once your logs are downloaded, you can analyze your depth, decompression profile, temperature, and much more.
The defining feature of Shearwater Cloud is the ability to store your dives via the cloud. Cloud storage provides accessibility to your dives on any mobile device with an internet connection. In addition, dive logs can be recovered should the dive logs be lost on a local storage.
Shearwater Cloud is compatible with Tern, Peregrine, Teric, Perdix 2, Perdix AI, Perdix, NERD 2, Petrel 3, and Petrel 2.

Very basic
I downloaded this hoping that it would allow me to sync my Petrel to the time on my iPhone so that I can quickly update to local time when travelling to a new time zone. Unfortunately this not included. Also, only time format available is granny format (am/pm) - why do north americans not understand 24 hour clock?
I don't really see the point of making a logbook app since there are already so many on the market which are far more sophisticated (eg MacDive). This app could be useful if it allowed quick changes to settings on the Shearwater - eg so I could set up gases, change Buhlmann gradients etc from my iPad
Functional - design from another time
If you ignore the dated appearance and learn to work with the quirks, this is a capable log. Certainly less annoying to use than the PADI app, and probably ties with SSI with different strengths and frustrations. Top asks • landscape layout on iPad so it works with keyboards • be able to copy and paste from one dive to another. I would put these functional improvements ahead of a UI refresh.
lack of direct connection
after latest version update can’t connect computer to iphone app :(
where is the point to have two apps (desktop and cloud / mobile) if you can’t sync information about diving like body location etc ?
you should take this under consideration and improve the cloud app.
