Privacy issue and zero positive outcome reviews online so far
I purchased this app.
Gave temporary permission to see my contacts so I could add emergency sms recipients.
After I dis allowed access. The app no longer showed the emergency contacts.
I do not wish to share the entire contents of my personal phone book to a random app I don’t know.
After searching online for reviews on this app, I found no cases of it being useful as yet...
I did however find them publishing a users location on their Facebook page as being in alert mode...?!?!!
For the apps longevity, I’d suggest a manual input page for emergency contacts as we are all getting rather cynical granting access to faceless app builders.
And don’t publicly post people’s location.
I will ask Apple for a refund.

let me just briefly repeat what I have already mentioned in our email exchange:
We need to have access to your contacts simply because you can select your emergency contacts in our app from your address book. It is for your convenience, there is no hidden catch behind this. Please note that we do not store any of your personal data. Unlike the vast majority of iPhone apps, we do not transfer any data from your iPhone/Apple Watch to our servers. We respect your privacy.
Regarding sharing a users location on our FB Page, we just published the post a while ago demonstrating our app works worldwide, of course not featuring any personal details of our users.

Doesn’t work if phone locked
I thought this app was a brilliant idea but it’s pretty pointless as it does it does not work while the phone is locked!

According to Apple's requirements for working with health-related data, only when your iPhone is unlocked can we access your health data and monitor your heart rate.
So you will need to set up (Require after 4 hours) or turn off the passcode lock on your iPhone.
