Riddle Road: Solitaire 12+

This is such a fun game I started yesterday and now I'm on leaves 21 this is my all time favorite 😍💕I got this from a different app and this is amazing if you want a relaxing game then download this also I haven't had 1 add normally a good game like this would have so many but this so far had none and it's free please download this it's amazing I don't even like cards but this just hits different it's not even hard there also races and something that you have to do with fixing a house and something g like detective stuff download this and 1 more things I rarely rate five stars but this deserves it

First the good. The game is quite fun at it’s core, and there is an interesting story to support the gameplay. The developers have spent a long time trying to find different ways to make a very simple patience game more interesting. Who would have thought that Owls could roost on cards? You get free tickets to play each day, after which each game costs in game currency. Helpers can be purchased for more currency but most of the time you only really need an extra 5 cards. Now the bad… The story needs proper;y proof reading. “i know 20 ways to tie a reef knot!” really? You might know 2 knots but there is only one possible way to tie a reef knot. I have had to fix the “breaks” on a tram rather than brakes. The list goes on. I’t just poor quality. Then there is the very bad… The game is relentlessly trying to indoctrinate the player in gambling terminology and gambling paraphernalia. Each game can have a multiplier applied for bigger rewards. You have the roulette wheel of fortune. The boat race,the board game, and goodness knows what else. It’s just relentless with pointless junk only used by gambling games. This is a game which is suitable for children aged 12+ to play, and which you shiould absolutely prevent them from doing this.

Gotta say, it’s a very slick game, very well presented, designed and programmed.

Unfortunately I have been here many, many times before. Everything goes great at the beginning, fun sort of game with a decent enough story, coins go up, helps accumulate and then you get to level 100. BANG ! The game changes, levels become significantly more difficult, some impossible to win without helps or replays, your accumulation of coins drop to zero within minutes and helps are gone. The game is then simply prescribed with progression determined by the game gods.

The predictable pop-ups appear advertising the buying of coins which results in the continued short term effect of being able to play. All the fun has suddenly gone resulting in nothing but the realisation that the game is a fully blown and continual pay to play scenario. And this situation will never go away. Buy the coins and they will be gone in seconds.

As already stated, progress is prescribed, determined by slick programming and nothing to do with any type of skill of strategy. The game will throw you the odd bone to progress but very infrequently and also designed to get you hooked and spend that hard earned cash. It’s a pity system and shameful really.

Frustrating in the end and a real shame because the game could have been great. I’m going to delete it now and my advice is not to bother. Unless you have very deep pockets.
