NO COMMON SENSE
So y’all can tell me if I’m wrong.
You’d think because Republic Bank’s new mobile application and their website was giving trouble they’d reactivate the old app so customers can use until they fix their issues right? VERY WRONG!!!
They left people in the cold water asking them to be patient. What about the people who had emergencies? People who had transactions to be done on that specific day?
People in ITMD or whoever built the app should know. DO NOT DEACTIVATE THE OLD APP UNTIL THE NEW ONE IS WORKING PROPERLY. - (Computer Science Chapter 1-34)
They could have done this so many ways. Like launching a beta app for example. Realize the issues fix it and then launch the official app.

Great update with lots more features!
I had to write a new review about the app after having problems to sign in. So I went to the bank who called tech support and they provided me with a temp password (which I received after a few days) with which I was able to log in and access my account.
I see there are many new features which wasn’t there before! I haven’t tried it out as yet, but I think it’s a great update.
There is an option to use Face ID to open the app, as well as SMS to confirm transactions or app notification which comes in handy if you travel a lot and switch out your SIM card.
You can also transfer money to other people and business and pay bills which saves you trips to the bank and avoid the long lines and wait times!
