Text input limitations:
Text input is only available in the Smart Hub apps which support Samsung keyboard. The keyboard will appear on mobile device screen automatically after you activate the input field on your TV screen. Some services, like Netflix, YouTube and others, have their own keyboards and are not supported by Remotie.
Premium Subscription:
User can subscribe for unlimited access to Premium features. Subscribed users have unlimited use of the Touchpad, Keyboard, Colored buttons, Playback controls, TV Apps without ads.
1-year Subscription with a 7-days free trial period - $19.99.
Prices are equal to the value that "Apple's App Store Matrix" determines is the equivalent of the subscription price in USD. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.

When current trial/subscription period expires, user will be unsubscribed. The current active subscription period can not be canceled. After subscription expires, user will no longer be able to use Interaction tab.

I purchase this purely cos my Samsung TV is not a very recent version but has all the smart apps etc and it doesn’t support keyboard screen display on the web browser. Have to use the pointer with the 4 Standard buttons on the remote and this app enabled me to get that keyboard on my iPhone which worked perfect.
I have a question though if anyone would know. How do I turn on the TV via this remote? Only reason why I can’t give a 5 star is cos I can’t seem to figure it out at all!
TV now asks for permission every time
Paid for the Pro version a year ago, but now useless. Until they fix the TV asking for allow permission each time you try to use it, it’s not worth downloading, look elsewhere!
This used to work great a year ago on my Samsung QED49Q6FNA however I’m not sure if this is a result of the tv update or the app update. Each time you close down the app the TV sees “Remotie”as a new connection so you need to allow each time via the TV remote. Which defeats the whole point of having the remote on your phone. “Remotie” shows in the list of allowed external devices, I’ve tried removing it and letting it re add it, but whenever you exit from the app on the phone it asks for permission again. The TV works perfectly with other devices listed so I can only assume this is a problem with this specific app access. It looks like the tv sees the app as a new device every time it the app is restarted, so that’s super annoying if you close down your apps regularly! Developers please look into this, maybe it’s a security thing now but you really need it to remember the device
This could be 5 star but......
I payed for the ad free version of this and was really happy with it as i had the same functions as my Samsung tv remote..... but at some point since updating, now when you do not use the app for a while, say about 30mins and go back on to the app it loses network connection and you have to use your original remote to accept the connect to then use! This happens all the time, and the tv and phone are both always on the same network so thats not the issue. Ive emailed the dev but they seem to not want to respond so for this id give the 2 stars.
