Good app and company
Had my charger installed recently and used the old app. Everything was seamless. Was asked if I would be willing to take part in a Beta of the new app which I did. Overall worked well, a few times I had to log myself back in and it hasn’t been as smooth as the previous app. Overall it’s been a good experience.
Good charger bad app
Everything was perfect, then they changed the app and it’s all gone down hill.
You can’t stop and start charges without unplugging the car, you can change a setting if it’s plugged in, you can’t start a charge right away without holding the screen for 20’seconds. If you schedule gharges but plug in after it will just not charge and will auto set for the next day, and then you can’t even cancel to charge install as you have to unplug the car again.
No idea who or why they changed the app is it’s objectively worse in every way, but I can now see how much it cost to charge, helpfull..

Hello Ginnyb123, thanks for the feedback. We have changed the UX so you only have to hold down for 2 seconds to authorise a charge. Note that it may still take a few seconds for the charge to prepare (the orange circle).
Unplugging to start a new session or change a setting has always existed (even with the old app). The old app allowed you to override this by forcing a charger reboot remotely in the app but we removed this function on advice from manufacturer to avoid charger damage. We are working on a touch-free solution for this.
Very pleased indeed
Since having the Poververse since June it hasn’t missed a beat. Only annoying thing is to change or stop and start another charge is to unplug which is a big inconvenience but not the end of the world. 5 stars if this problem solved
