Description
Pi-hole Remote is a third party Pi-hole application that lets you quickly enable/disable your Pi-hole, block services on your network, as well as add domains to your whitelist/blacklist and view statistics. You can also update gravity, manage adlists, and even control all Pi-hole DNS & DHCP settings.
*Disable Blocking*
Quickly disable blocking from the app, interactive Home Screen widgets, your Apple Watch, or Siri. You'll see a Live Activity for the duration to remind you blocking is disabled!
*Statistics & Queries*
Look up what domains are queried most on your network, as well as clients that send out the most requests. View your query log as well as a 'Live Log' which shows queries on your network in real-time.

Here is v6.2 already with some much requested features, more bugfixes, and the return of the Apple TV app! I'm hard at work fixing issues and adding missing features that you request, please keep the feedback coming!

v6.0 is a total rewrite of the app for the release of Pi-hole v6. This new version brings many performance, efficiency, and design improvements. Furthermore, there are many new features that weren't possible before, like managing Clients & Groups, DNS, DHCP, and more. To highlight a few: support for unlimited instances and custom headers, you can now update gravity, a new 'add 5 minutes' button, and redesigned widgets and Live Activity.
The update also brings some special features for iOS/iPadOS 18 and watchOS 11, like new dark/tinted app icons, a new UI on iPad, support for the Double Tap gesture on Apple Watch, and more.
This also brings a change to the business model of the app: from paid upfront to free with a 'Pi-hole Remote+' version. Doing this felt like a right move to make more people enjoy the basic features of Pi-hole Remote for free, while also making sure the app has a sustainable future.
I made sure that everyone who downloaded/purchased the app before this update, will get Pi-hole Remote+ lifetime for free. You'll find a button to activate it inside the app, which checks if you're eligible.
Some old features that were in v5 might be missing still, as I've focused on the most important features first. Expect more regular updates now that v6 is out, with missing features returning better than ever.

Excellent companion for Pi-Hole
I don’t usually review apps but this one deserves its 5 stars hands down. From checking live logs for diagnostics, to the ease of selecting a service to block with just one tick the Pi-hole Remote is one of the select few apps I use across all my devices on a regular basis.
It’s the little things that count in life and this is just one of those convenient tools that makes things much easier. The accompanying widgets to see statistics at a glance are extremely useful for seeing data on my home screen without needing to open apps and navigate around menus. The responsiveness of the app is rapid and loading data (especially if your Pi-hole server is relatively beefy) is pretty much instant - cannot recommend the app any more! Super grateful for its existence 💯
Very good app
I wanted a nice app to manage my Pihole without having to log into the Pi itself. Along comes this app and changed my life. OK, maybe it's not that dramatic but it IS a pretty good app. It shows me everything I need in one place and allows me to see at a glance what's happening on my network.
The only thing it could do better is to allow us to update the Pi/Pihole itself right from the app. 😀
Still, it's a good enough app for my uses and I'm.very happy to give it 5 stars.

No longer supports v5
Edited: I’ve edited this after making a new test v6 install. Features that were free in this app are now behind a paywall, including the live log. Why someone would pay for this when this is now in the web interface for free, I do not know. Taking away features that were once free means I won’t be using this anymore.

I use PiHole v5 and do not want to update to v6 for a few months to ensure that any bugs have been worked out. This app has updated and now no longer works with v5 (which has only been outdated for a few days) and will only work once PiHole is updated to v6, rendering this app now useless to anyone who wants to ensure stability for their DNS rather than blindly updating to the newest version. Do not use if you want to keep v5.
