OSCAR: home services 4+

We recently had an issue with our boiler. I used the Oscar app to request a technician come that evening (which I paid an extra fee for) there were no technicians available for that day, so I was asked to reschedule to a few days later, with no refund for the express see I had paid.

When the technician did come he was unable to do anything as he had been expecting my boiler to be electrical rather than gas. I was still charged the full amount for nothing having been done.

I have since emailed back and forth with Oscar to request a full refund, however they insisted I had selected the wrong job on the app. I have provided plenty of evidence that this is not the case, to which they are now just ignoring my messages.

I had a job booked for an external plug socket replacement and an intercom install. It was accepted and booked for three days and then the technician decided to cancel the job 30 minutes before the scheduled time. I tried to rebook the job for two days later and it was never accepted, and nobody came to do the work. Rubbish!

Had a deep cleening scheduled in Portugal. The cleaning was not performed properly, glasses looked greasy, not all floor skirts were cleaned, dusts still on some surfaces, oven poorly cleaned still aith some grease stains. Customer service takes days to reply, rectification visit got rescheduled. This is not a service you can count on.
