Ratings and Reviews
Same old crashing issues
Really struggle with this app version 6 and its predecessors.
Migration of data from version 5 to version 6, just causes constant crashing, even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app on the latest iOS version.
Why you have to go through the whole migration process is beyond me, I guess it’s to simplify the procedure, but how can it be simple if it just doesn’t work.
Why can’t we simply import a version 5 export into version 6 ?
I have supported, and ‘struggled’ with OneSafe from their very first app, learnt all of its little ‘quirks’ and failures and found workarounds to be able to use it, was just hoping that this version would be more grounded and less painful..
Developer Response ,
Hi, thanks for your feedback. You have to migrate as it's a new app, with new cryptography and data structure.
If you're facing problem to migrate, could you please make sure you have the latest versions of oneSafe 5 and 6? If you keep having problems when migrating from oneSafe 5 (from oneSafe 5 settings, "Migrate to oneSafe 6"), could you please give us more details on our Discord? https://discord.gg/PMmdpVkSQt Thanks a lot
Style over substance
It’s had a flashy new makeover but seems to be missing a lot of the features that made the old onesafe good.
I personally don’t like the new style, the old app was simple and worked well. When trying to manage passwords, personal data, Photos etc the last thing I want is the apps hand drawn animated characters moving around pointing at stuff.
Missing some features that for me at least set it apart from other vaults (dummy vaults, break in reports, tri pin passcodes, lockable folders). Sure it may get added at a later date but why release another onesafe that’s not as good as the previous one at launch?
Developer Response ,
Hi, oneSafe 6 is a brand new version, with super modern security and technology. We also worked on privacy and accessibility, to make sure we have robust foundations to ship new features on a regular basis.
I prefer version 5
Version 5 doesn’t now work since I upgraded my iPad to iOS 18. I don’t suppose it’ll get an update.
With version 5, I can go to the various sites held within and click on the chain icon at the top which populates my user name and password. With version 6, it can’t be done. Plus, each time I want to get into 6, I’ve got to type the entry password. This just isn’t as convenient, or secure, as the tri colour/symbols/number system. Hopefully, they’ll be some big updates and get it back to a version of 5. P.s. An update fixed logging into version 5. I still prefer 5 to version 6 though.

Hi, oneSafe 5 had problems with iOS 18 the first week, it's now fixed. For oneSafe 6, we'll improve it. For now, you can use biometrics to avoid typing your password.
