Description
Want a free, powerful password manager? Norton Password Manager is a single solution to help manage your unique passwords in multiple ways. Memorizing complex passwords with symbols, numbers, capital letters, and more, is difficult but using strong passwords is important to help keep your personal information secure. With Norton Password Manager, your information is encrypted, helping keep it secure, yet still available across your devices so you can access it anywhere. Best of all, it’s free!*
Why Norton Password Manager
• Passwords filled in a single tap
When you log in to websites and apps, it’s a smoother, quicker, and more convenient experience. Your passwords are stored in an online vault, which can be used to auto fill online login information with a single tap.¹
• Encrypted
With zero knowledge encryption and two-factor authentication, only you control access to your password vault–not even Norton can access it. These security measures help keep your data safer from cybercriminals and hacking attempts.
• Free*
Norton Password Manager is free and accessible to anyone and works on devices including computers, tablets, and phones.
• Sync passwords¹
Your entire password vault can be synced and accessed across your devices. Your logins and credit card credentials can be auto filled.
• Biometric unlock²
There’s no need to even type in your vault password. Access your vault faster or recover your vault password³ using Apple’s Touch ID® or Face ID®.
• Password Assessment
Check if your passwords are strong and easily create new passwords or change weak passwords to strong ones that are more difficult to crack.
Your information stays private even from us because it’s encrypted using zero-knowledge encryption before being stored in your cloud-based vault. Your passwords and other personal information can be even more secure by enabling two-factor authentication, plus you can use Apple’s Touch ID® or Face ID® so you can access your vault even faster.
Creating and remembering complex passwords doesn’t have to be difficult. Norton Password Manager helps you safeguard your personal information by making recommendations to strengthen passwords, adding more security to your online, digital life.
* With the free version of Norton Password Manager, we reserve the right to limit the number of entries (like passwords) at any time. This limitation won’t affect any existing entries in your vault.
¹ Requires your device to have an Internet/data plan and be turned on.
² Only available on iOS devices with Fingerprint Authentication or Touch ID/Face ID activated.
³ Vault Password Reset can only be initiated on an iOS smartphone. To work, your smartphone must have the Norton Password Manager mobile app installed, set up, and connected to your Norton account, plus the Biometric Authentication (fingerprint, or Touch ID/Face ID) activated, beforehand.

The latest version is not as friendly as the previous version. Every time a select a web address it comes up with the Norton search screen. On the previous version there was a little icon at the bottom of the screen where you easily switch between different views. This is no longer available In the current version once I selected a web to sign on and want to get the password I have to press the back button and then select the web site again so I have two screen open for the same site. Why do some sites log on automatically but others do no and I have to enter the details even though they are both set to automatically log on
Poor IT
Poor IT Very intrusive Can’t do anything on desktop without annoying pop ups saying mobile approval needed. Should be good enough to remember! Can’t import passwords etc. Fairly poor to be honest. I expected better. Even worse is that after getting a new phone same type and same number Norton have stopped sending authority requests to my phone despite the desktop asking to resend on numerous occasions. And this is despite me asking Norton for help to resolve the problem. My requests for help are totally ignored. Don’t waste your money on this app as the service is appallingly bad. Possibly the worst I’ve ever experienced. Update! Recently got new phone identical to previous one. PCDesktop now never sends message to phone to authorise internet search. Reported to support. IGNORED, This app really is crap and just gets worse. If I could award zero stars I would do so. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND EFFORTS WITH THIS APP. Not only that the support people ignore EVERY message I send to ask for help. Why would anyone accept such crap service and such an appallingly bad app? To support people you might redeem yourselves if you bother to get in touch with me. There is surely an app out there that does a proper job, probably one powered with an elastic band would do better!

Terrible app, terrible service
Was working ok a couple of weeks ago, then I started getting g an error message that just said “Error while communicating with server”, so thought I would try deleting the app and reinstalling it. It wouldn’t remember me, so I contacted Norton and then the merry go round started, kept spouting off about restrictions and importance of security, well I know that, that’s why I use a security app! Then told me there was no account with that email, I tried three different emails, still nothing. I was told to create a new account, well how would that get my saved passwords back?! Finally got in using Apple ID and selecting the One Time Password and got in, but still getting the error message. Don’t bother, just don’t bother. BT I’m so annoyed you changed from McAfee to this Circus. The annoying thing is, I was trying to get in to copy the passwords I had in it, save them to my Passwords vault on my iPhone, then bin the app, but I can’t even do that.
UPDATE - had a reply from Norton, asking me to contact them via either Twitter or Facebook. I don’t have Twitter and I don’t have Facebook, any other suggestions?!
