Nibble: Your Bite of Knowledge 12+

I really like the concept of the app. The information given is easy to understand but it each lesson feels like a rushed overview of the subject, which often leaves you searching online for further details.
For example, Osiris is god of the underworld and marries his sister Isis, but what is she the goddess of??
Romulus and Remus were ordered to death by their grandfather, but what was his name/anything about him??
I feel like this would be a really interesting app if it delved a bit deeper into each subject, but currently each lesson will leave you with a middle school understanding of each subject at best.

It depends what level of understanding you’re trying to reach for each subject. For some this might be perfect, but personally it has me Googling around 4/5 different things each lesson which makes me feel like I could just search for the entire lesson online without a subscription.

READ FIRST: If you like the app make sure you cancel it. They immediately offer you to cut the price from £15/month to £15/year!!!! I got the app initially as a way to take me away from mindless scrolling. I was under the impression there would be lots of videos and interesting content. Instead I found a very shallow pool of content, that is all text based. Not engaging, limited, and expensive compared to just reading wiki. They then make it very confusing to cancel, and you have to jump through hoops to do so. I thought I had cancelled only to be hit with a bill for £46 months later. Although I immediately contacted them to highlight my mistake they refused to cancel and refund. It seems as if there business plan is to advertise well (but not accurately) and then hope you accidentally don’t cancel your extremely overpriced subscription (proven to be overpriced based on the extreme discount they immediately offered when I cancelled.) Bad app. Bad company. Do not be suckered in like I was.

Edit: the charge is being refunded now, so re-rating to 2 star due to helpfulness of customer service team. However can’t rate above that because I still feel it is falsely advertised and overpriced.

Don’t touch this app! There are one-click charges that are deducted from your bank account, without the design functionality to offer you a way of out that page. So many reviews on their total lack of transparency regarding what you’re buying, auto-renewals, cancelling renewals in a complete MAZE of pages on their website. This sites function (knowledge) is so basic to say the least and they know it. They are scam artists, con men and fraudsters. They reply to emails but do nothing but offer you a refusal to refund due to a reason buried deep in their t&c’s about purchasing on their website. I don’t know of any reason why you would NOT refund unhappy customers - the reason here is because they are making a fortune from delivering nothing via confusing interfaces, trial subscriptions, auto-renewals and opaque practices. They should be investigated because this is web fraud.
