The app is good

I've completed the greek mythology and zoology courses and am doing the neurodiversity course. I love the course but I dislike the ADHD as it doesn't really list any of the less known symptoms. The history is interesting but the symptoms you learn about are just a few. At its core, ADHD is a regulation disorder. For most symptoms there are polar opposites, distractability and hyper focus, impulsivity and decision paralysis, etc... Also the course fails to mention any emotional dysregulation, which is a major symptom of ADHD.

In conclusion, I think this app is amazing, but its neurodiversity course needs more attention to the lesser known aspects of mental disorders that can have the same impact as the more known symptoms.

Great app, a lot of issues to be ironed out

They state that they respond to feedback to fix things but they unfortunately haven’t fixed any of the feedback I’ve given. One of the answers to a question is so long it doesn’t fit in the box, so I have no idea what the correct answer is and therefore can’t learn this topic fully… there are many questions with typos that still haven’t been fixed.

Okay so initially I wrote a very upset 1 star review, however I’ve decided to change this to a 4 star upon rethinking. The app is great, it has its positives, which is that there is soooo many different topics covered in one app that makes it feel like I can learn super fast. I’m currently doing a psychoanalysis pathway and it’s proving very informative and even offers several books to sink my teeth into. I also must add that they use a lot of AI generated images, many of which look tacky. (For example the classic mashed up fingers as well as generally weird perspectives) I wonder how much of the text is also ai generated. Sometimes the app can glitch, resulting in the rant I initially wrote; I was doing the superpower learning pathway and suddenly I login to find my progress wiped… my progress on other pathways was still showing but it was a pain that this pathway got wiped, hence the 1 star review. I’ve never had this issue with other learning apps like duolingo. Makes the entire app feel amateur to have a kick in the gut like this after a streak so long.

No time wasting with Kinnu

I find Kinnu great on my long commutes. I use it instead of thinking how much time I waste. It’s made into little chunks that are easy to take in and remember and the quizzes reinforce the knowledge. It was my saviour in times of depression when I tended to procrastinate a lot. Not only did I learn a few things about psychology and how to deal with depression, I also felt better by doing something useful. Highly recommended!
