At last this now works. 😊
After a few years of this app just showing maps with red lines on hold ups or whatever, and symbols with no worded information making the app pretty much useless.........someone has listened to the comments from users and made it a bit more like the old RAC driver assist app.
Now all I have to do is press a symbol, and it tells me what the problem is so I can make a decision whether to use the road or make a detour.
The only issue I have is that even though I’ve selected fingerprint to log on I’m still only given the email and password option. Please can you sort this bug out?
Now the app is worthy of five stars, please don’t let some young upstart of an app developer with a “new and fresh and innovative style or idea” break it again, therefore making it useless. I don’t want to have to change my review back to one star. If anyone does try just sack them.......easy peasy, who cares!

Horrendous customer service - will never be using again
My car broke down on at my house Sunday and, because I paid for RAC coverage when I bought the car, I called the RAC to come out to look at it. The guy said it was an issue with the starter motor and advised I get it looked at by a garage. I asked about transport of the car and it can’t be driven and he said they would be able to arrange the transport of my vechile there.
So I booked in with the dealership garage to get it fixed under my warranty. I called the RAC back to arrange transport as requested and the girl on the phone said there was nothing wrong with my car as the RAC report said it was starting some of the time - it wasn’t. The man who came out to look at it couldn’t get it started at all. I told her I couldn’t get the car started and that I just needed transport and she told me I was lying to her.
My boyfriend took my phone as I was getting really upset and he told her exactly same thing I had and she immediately agreed with him. He hasn’t changed any words, just repeated what I said. She just didn’t believe me, or didn’t want to help me resolve this issue seemingly because I’m a girl.
This is completely disgraceful and has left me feeling like I can’t make a request in confidence solely for the fact I’m female.

Home Start
My car is a 2014 Jaguar XJ and is used as a high days and holidays car. It had been used 1 week before with no problems obvious. The battery was flat and being unable to get further than entry into the car and lift the bonnet. I called the RAC. I couldn’t gain access to the boot where the battery is situated and it wouldn’t charge through the under bonnet charging points. The RAC unit arrived promptly and within 5 minutes had the boot open. Within 15 mins he diagnosed a battery failure. It wouldn’t hold a charge. He offered to procure a new battery and gave me an estimated price. Within an hour he had the battery fitted and all systems reset. I considered this a superb service and this is why we continue to us the RAC.
